Horrible, unprofessional staff managing this condo reservation.
Firstly, my friend arrived and the guy informed him he will just cancel the reservation because they overbooked and they cannot give us the Queen + 1 Sofa Bed Room that we booked. We made sure to book early and had a long time preparing for the trip because it was on a special day: New Year's eve. One guest cancelled and he told us he will temporarily put us in a different room type (downgraded/NO WIFI).
On the second day, the staff did not bother to inform us if the new room is already available. We had to go down to their staff quarters so we can follow up with their promise that they will move us to the correct room type. Their rooms were DIRTY, small cockroaches especially in the kitchen area. Dirty toilet. The staff are mostly made up of men who look like they are not particular with hygiene. The rice cooker was there but the bowl for the rice inside wasn't there. The kitchen container was broken. The pull-out bed was broken, the AC (air conditioner) very dirty and moldy.
Once again we had to go down to their staff quarters to ask assistance. Even if we message them, the staff are too lazy to assist guests.
On top of all the inconveniences and dirty rooms, the short guy on the 10th floor staff room had the nerve to DEMAND 400 pesos late checkout fee from us because he said we didn't check out sooner. We were actually all ready to check out but we were waiting for them to get the keys from us in the unit. Most condo hotels that we stayed in follows up with us and knock on the door to update us. THEIR STAFF SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE GUESTS.
The cleaner arrived past 12noon and that's when we informed him he can take the keys and give us our IDs. We told him we don't want to go down to their staff quarters anymore (it was such a hassle). The short guy in the 10th floor room that time did not want to give us our IDs. So I said "fine we're leaving". I refused to pay given that they did not even give us a proper room on Day 1.
We hung out in the lobby area waiting for our Grab car when the short male staff went down to the lobby too and then said "oh you are the ones who had the wrong room yesterday? It's okay here's your ID". DID NOT EVEN GENUINELY APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
Their staff are dirty, unprofessional and rude. The owner should know that. Better hire female cleaners and staff. Maybe then you can get improvements.
