Reviews of Oceania Quimper

The hotel is very close to the central train station, a 10-minute walk away, and very close to the Roman Forum, 5 tram stops away. If it weren't winter, you could easily walk there. It's less than 20 minutes' walk from the Frankfurt Exhibition Center, and only one block away from Air China's Frankfurt office. There are many restaurants and several food supermarkets nearby, two of which are run by Chinese. One or two blocks near the hotel entrance are ***, and there are many people taking **. The number gradually increased from the afternoon, and the sense of security was very low. The room I stayed in was a single room, and the 1-meter-wide small bed took up half of the room. For a price of more than 4,000 for 3 nights, you can stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt City Centre nearby, where the environment and hygiene are much better. This is my first time staying in Frankfurt, and I have no experience, so I don't recommend Chinese people to choose this hotel

The hotel is very close to the downtown area of ​​quimper. There is also a Carrefour next to it, which makes it very convenient to buy food and drinks. The taxis here are a bit unreliable. If you leave the hotel early, be careful that they will arrive late.

C'est un bon hôtel 3 étoiles, un peu éloigné de la gare bien que ce soit un élément détérminant pour moi dans la recherche (probablement pas de la faute de l'hôtel). Le personnel est sympathique, sans plus.

We were with a coach party and our stay included a dinner in the evening. Room was OK and we could even get BBC London on the satellte tv! Breakfast was fairly standard french fare with bread/ham/cheeses - some sausages & scrambled egg for the English who cannot eat any form of foreign food! The madeleines were good! We had a fixed meal at 7pm. No indication of a menu. No choice just 3 courses served - take it or leave it! 1st night a mini quiche & salad starter followed by a (I think) chicken brochette with my meat dry and overcooked then a reasonable chocolate fondante. 2nd night Jambon Cru (hard to ruin) plus a very cold undercooked poached egg and a salad drowned in a very strong balsamic dressing (not good for my wife who can't eat eggs + avoids red meat) Main was (again I suppose) a pork dish with carrots and dry boiled rice and an unidentifiable sauce. One of my pieces of pork was a slice which was tough, dry and overcooked the other a mishaped lump which I couldn't even cut! These were the 2 worst meals I have ever been offered in my many years of visiting France - I mistakenly thought that meat was never overcooked in France. My advice is take B&B only and do NOT eat an evening meal!

Suburban location and neglected hotel: the magnetic card to open the room didn't work, my room was spacious but with very dirty windows glass and chipped doors. Colorless dinner and chaotic breakfast buffet. Inadequate value for money: I don't recommend it.

The staff were absolutely delightful and so very helpful on everything, Quimper town centre is a pretty walk along the river about 30 minutes away. Two excellent golf courses nearby. Weather was disappointing for July. Thank you Hotel Oceania

Positive: - Hotel facilities - Reasonable price Negative: - Oceania unfortunately focuses mainly on business guests during the week. From Friday to Sunday, the restaurant is closed and the number of staff is drastically reduced. This then leads to the lady at the reception being responsible for both the telephone, check-in and also the bar, which means it can take quite a long time to get something to drink. At the weekend, there are at most a few tour buses; as a normal guest, you don't really feel well looked after. - The dishes at breakfast were partly not clean. Traces of scrambled eggs on the plates, traces of coffee or tea in the cups. The staff at breakfast was inattentive regarding the lack of cutlery, bread, etc. - Although the town centre is only 1 km away (as the crow flies), unfortunately you cannot walk there because you would have to walk the first 400 m on the highway. So you always have to take the car.

Dirty, revolting carpets and smell, horrible room, no restaurant and no where to eat , no tea / coffee making facilities. Receptionist unhelpful and didnt speak English. Manage not available. Pool area looked unkept.

Completely satisfy about my stay in the hotel. The room was clean and large, there was enough space for stay and work as well. Dinner was tastefull and the service excellent. Price / quality is absolutely in line. Recommended!

The paintings, carpets, lighting and furniture are very dated. The elevators also seem very old. Even externally the building looks dirty. In the rooms, the TVs are very old and have poor reception. The bathroom area is very dark. However, the rooms are rather comfortable, the bedding very good and the breakfast quite adequate. Nothing to say about the staff who are very friendly and helpful.

Very good professional stopover, the welcome, the rooms, the calm. The team is very present to satisfy customers, which is appreciable. An address to keep when staying in Quimper, if you are not necessarily looking for a location in the city center

Professional stay in December, very clean and modern room. Quiet hotel and welcoming staff. I would happily come back. Please note that the hotel is a little outside the city center so you have to come by car or taxi, especially if you want to go eat in town. Restaurant not tested
