The room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They let us leave our bags during the day since we had a late afternoon departure. The location is excellent - a 5 min. walk from the central square. They provided a simple but nice breakfast. The wifi was a bit slow.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Location is excellent. The only reason deducting a 'star' is because my private bathroom had this really strong smell which unfortunately stank up the room and made the stay a bit unpleasant. But overall, definitely would recommend.

My oasis in this city, with perfect location in the historic center, a rooftop terrace with amazing views and a welcoming, helpful staff. The hostel has a colonial feel to it and is very clean. Flowers everywhere! A great breakfast with a smoothie, an omelette, a cheese sandwich and a coffee. Quiet and peaceful, very safe.

No hot water. Bad neighborhood at night, and unable to walk around after 6pm. Breakfast was okay. Staff okay but no English speaking employees.

Very cosy hotel in a convenient location next to the Independence Square. Its beautiful yard offers nice views to the Virgen del Panecillo and the room had a comfortable bed and handy furniture and storage space. The staff was really friendly and flexible, they carefully listened to all my requests. Breakfast was tasty.

Good location near Old Town. It was only a few minutes walk to the main plaza and restaurants. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, excellent staff. Premises were well decorated with a pleasant outdoor sitting area.

Our first night I got bitten in bed at least 30 times by insects. So, they made a great effort to clean the room and the bedding. The next day we got bit about 10 times in the room but not in bed. The third day we gotten bitten a lot by bugs in the couch. We had planned to stay 5 nights but we checked out to another hotel after 3 nights because of the bugs first in the bed then in the sofa. Otherwise it's a pretty nice low budget hotel with some nice features like communal spaces with good views. It is however on a Very Noisy Street in the day time. Free breakfast is pretty bad. Great location.
