Check in was a breeze. Bre at the front desk was very helpful and attentive. The hotel is being renovated and we were checked into a remodelled room. For the price it was ok. Stayed there for 4 days. Breakfast was pretty good. Hotel needs to look into getting exterminating services. Just remember you get what you pay for. I will not stay here again. If you want a cheap place to stay, this is the place.

I was on the 5th floor and the ice machine was broken so I went to 4 and that didn't work. I called the front desk and really got no help. She said 4 was working and that was it. Also, no hairdryer in the room.

Terrible stinky old hotel
Very old and musty hotel, room smelled terrible. Breakfast was not great except for strawberry waffles. This hotel should have been renovated years ago, they let it go too long. Slowest elevators ive ever experienced in a hotel. Bed was not comfortable nor were the pillows. They also hit my credit card 3x with nearly $500 authorizations each time. If i paid in full upon checkin plus the additional $90 deposit, why is it necessary to hit your card for 2 additional authorizations when the room is paid.
Ill reconsider any Hampton inn in the future and stay with marriott bonvoy and ihg brands

They are currently remodeling, take this into consideration. I did not have a remodeled room so the bathroom left a bit to be desired. Old tub some mold. The pool was great, refreshing, towels for pool use. Plenty of options to eat nearby, free parking and plenty of it. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. And the included breakfast was great. The elevators are slow! And the ice machines were off, my guess due to construction I am certain they could provide some if asked. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hampton Inn Raleigh-Capital Blvd is in a great location with easy access to all major roads. Staff is very accommodating but the hotel is in the middle of some major renovations. If you are planning a visit - stay away from the floors where work is ongoing. The included breakfast has many options and a coffee bar is available 24/7. The website lists in-room safes as one of the amenities but the 2 rooms we stayed in (we had to move due to a leak from the bathroom above us) did not have any safes in them. I'm sure this place will rate 5 stars once the renovations are completed.

I originally booked a king. I had my granddaughter with me and realized we needed a two bed room. The original room was old. We upgraded to a new room on the 5th floor. It was new and more relaxing.
