Travelodge Hotel - Ramsgate Seafront

Stayed on third floor under the roof. I air flow in entire level. Windows open a couple of inches and balcony locked all in the name of health and safety. Dangerously hot. Apparently ground floor has air con as windows don’t open at all.

This TL is in a perfect location with car parking opposite. The staff are great & welcoming, bar cafe looks to be recently refurbished, although not as good as others I've stayed at. The hotel itself is looking dated & shabby in places, I'm guessing it's waiting it's turn for refurbishment as Travelodge are working their way through the sites. I'd guess it's not TL originally & been bought from another chain, as the rooms & rest of building are nothing like a typical Travelodge and it's starting to show it's age. It wasn't that cheap either for three nights, but I guess that's it's convenient location. Would we stay again? Yes once it's had a makeover!

My friend & his family live in Ramsgate & they recommended I stay at the Travelodge Ramsgate Seafront Hotel for 1 night midweek last week. This I did & the staff plus Andrea (Main Reception) were incredibly helpful & charming during my stay. They were all a great credit to the Travelodge organisation. The convenience of the Breakfast area being opposite the Main Reception was very convenient & the overall food display was of a very high standard. My personal experience was so good, I mentioned I may bring my family here. Thanks to Andrea, she told me they have Family Rooms available to stay. Soonafter departure, I informed my family about my experience & they immediately wanted to come to Ramsgate & stay at this lovely hotel. As a result, I/we have taken on board Andrea’s specific Family Room recommendation & we have now booked an overnight stay to be there in mid Aug. I look forward to my family having the same positive experience in meeting the lovely staff & Andrea at your hotel plus the high quality food at breakfast. My Thanks & Regards Davy Lee

Very good location and beautiful views over harbour Rooms are basic with no air-conditioning only a fan and a small window to open., which made to room hot and as the window was open it was noisy due to raod outside. Clean was room and bathroom Breakfasts was good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Substandard bathroom. A stained ripped shower curtain that didnt stretch across the rail , leading to the bathroom flower getting drenched everytime I had a shower. A cheap poundstetcher style handset for a shower. It was too low and water only came out of half the holes. Grubby vinyl stuck in the bath which put me off taking one. More student digs than Hotel bathroom. Sone of female staff esp blonde middle aged receptionist unfriendly and helpful. One was lovely . They should have all been.

Love this place. So friendly and double helpful. Rooms clean and spacious. Right on the front overlooking the Marina. Loads of nice bars and restaurants close by. The best Weatherspoon right on the beach. The multi story car park is next door that charged us £9 for 24 hours. Best advice is the download the app on your phone taken from the ticket machine. Honestly it was easy to understand and I’m an OAP. The old town is behind the hotel just two minutes away. And the bus stops to other towns next to the multi story car park. An all round great position.

Brilliant position overlooking the marina. Plenty of little bars and restaurants close by. With the best Weathspoon right on the beach. Buses to the other resorts to the side. Multi story car park right next door which cost us £9 for 24 hours. Best to download the app on the side of the machine which we found easy to work as I’m an OAP. and you can extend the duration from your phone without going to the car park. Upstairs is locked at night which suited us as we didn’t use the car for two days. Overall it’s a lovely little town with the high street just behind the hotel. Well worth a visit.

Can't wait to repeat our stay, lovely hotel brilliant staff! Perfect place for the hotel overlooking the harbour.
