Moonflower Cottages

The accommodation was very cozy. My only opinion is maybe think of adding catering because some of us come from very far and we come for business or school things and there is no tome to cook.

Owner Jamie welcomed me on arrival and showed me to my room - all payment and booking confirmation was done smoothly. He insured I am comfortable and assisted with recommendation of dinners in the area. I truly enjoyed the stay with them as the room where spacious and clean / proper bedding added value. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at Moonflower Cottages. We deliberately didn't stay at a general hotel in the city, but we enjoyed the possibility to sit outside. Nearby was a supermarket and great restaurants on walking distance. The owners are very flexible. Also great that we could borrow plugs for the local socket, very helpfull.

This place is truly a hidden gem. The location is great, quiet, but still not far from areas with restaurants, bars etc. You can even walk to Johannesburg Botanical garden. And grocery stores and pharmacy is in walking distance from Moonflower. Jamie who runs the place is easy to communicate with, helpfull and nice to talk to. I was staying there for three nights two times, in two different cottages. Both was great. I even got upgraded on my second stay, to cottage 4, that I referred to as my princess tower - beautiful cottage. The driver Chris (that was recommended by Jamie), is also very helpfull and trustworthy. He helped me several times.

I really enjoyed my stay at Moonflower Cottages. The hosts were extremely accomodating and helpful with my schedule. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the neigbhborhood was lovely and safe with easy access to Delta park and good restaurants and grocery stores. An unexpected bonus was the friendly cats who helped welcome me and hung out with me each morning while I drank coffee on the stoop!

Had problem gaining access for 10 min as no one answered the bell or the phone - and I hooted. There was no welcome coffee, tea, sugar or bit of milk.There was no mini shampoo, conditioner & body wash - not even an ordinary dove soap. The pink stuff at the hand basin was that awful-smelling cheap stuff. The microwave turntable wasn't functional & so didn't turn properly & was noisy. The decor etc was fancy but the accommodation failed in respect of the small essentials which showed lack of care. See to these things and the cottage will be great and I will gladly recommend it.

I appreciated the silence and clean yard with recharging effec No interference from the landlord and I felt safe. Very close to a shop and I enjoy the garden

The place is neat and clean. Located not far from the office so that was a bonus for us. Staff very friendly and professional we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be staying at Moonflower again.

The host (Jamie) made us feel so welcome, the kind of place one knows they will be back within a few minutes after arriving. We felt so safe throughout our stay and made good use of the pool. I am 100% sure I will call again and again.
