The hotel was a pleasant surprise , clean, well furnished, spacious, great kitchenette with all cooking utensils and equipment needed to cook brekky, bathroom spacious and water hot. Even a coffee machine for guest use in the front reception. The hosts Charlotte and Mike were lovely and couldnt be anymore helpful. Mike mentioned the pub behind the hotel was good for a feed and a beer, my husband ask him did they have Stienlager on tap Mike wasn't sure but went out of his way to walk over and ask the bar staff, what a good man. We only stayed 1 night as we were heasding to Picton, but if we are ever in the region again will definately stay at the Riverstone. Thanks Guys great work..... Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.A+++++

We took the ferry from Wellington to Picton and drove to Rangiora. It was a comfortable stop on our way to the west coast of the South Island! Our hosts were so helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed! Thanks again for your hospitality

We had the best stay at Mike and Charlotte’s place. They were fantastic hosts and there was nothing they hadn’t thought of. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chocolate because my husband ate them both. Our room was spotless with lots of lovely touches. My husband commented that he hasn’t seen such shiny sinks since his military days. It was nice to see champagne glasses, shame we had no champagne to drink :) We can’t wait to stay again. It is without a doubt one of the best places we have EVER stayed at in New Zealand. Thanks again both, you are AMAZING!

One of the best motels we've ever stayed in. The facilities were superb. The studio was super clean and pristine. Everything you required for a comfortable stay was in place. Charlotte and Mike could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Thank you both.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Riverstone last week for one night, in hindsight, we should have stayed another night instead of heading to Christchurch. Rangiora is very close to ChCh and is a nice distance from the city, perfect for day trips. The room was spotless, modern and Charlotte and Mike were very warm and accommodating. would highly recommend staying here. Mikes tip for dinner was also spot on....the Plough Hotel.

We stayed for two nights in the four bedroom apartment that also has a access room for my father who is in a wheelchair or walker most of the time. The place was absolutely spotless and so comfortable! Would definitely 100% recommend staying.

The Riverstone is exceptionally clean and is in a very convenient position but without traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size and very well appointed. The hosts are warm and friendly and made me feel very welcome.

We turned up at Riverstone without a booking, late in the afternoon and were immediately offered a delightful room at Riverstone. It was very comfortable, extremely clean and well appointed. The bed was super comfy with crisp linen and we had a great sleep. Thank you to Mike, for you warm greeting and hospitality. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.
