Travelodge Reading Whitley

Had a very pleasant stay at Travelodge Reading Whitley. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The hotel is in a convenient location and offered everything I needed for my stay. A special thank you to Kanchan, who was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. Her excellent customer service made my stay even more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to others

Great stay meeting friends. The room was comfortable and very clean. Better than some higher priced hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Getting around was easy.

It's in a quiet location away from the town centre but without being too far from town. The area is good enough for staying and travel about the place and although the Travelodge has no restaurant, it has a pub next door that provide breakfast for a nice price in the morning. 9-1130 or weekends 8 - 11. The rooms are nice enough for the price you pay and is one of cheaper places in reading to book. You get free parking and newly refurbished rooms which are to a decent enough condition compared to other Travelodges. All coming with a kettle, tea and coffee a fan etc. My only complaint is that bath tub needed a bit more of a clean as it had looked like it has been missed during cleaning. One of the small beds had a mark on the duvet as well. It may not be premier inn standard but on the weekends the cheapest premier inn or holiday inn although better, are 40 to. 50 quid more expensive and some don't have parking! So for what you get for you money a this Travelodge, it is good value for money for what you get. Although they are not the best the rooms good enough for a couple of nights stay and as mentioned refurbished.

This was my first time ever staying in a hotel, or anywhere outside of my home, in all my 46 years of living, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, Karen at the front desk made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I explained my situation to her, and she was incredibly understanding, caring, and helpful. All the staff that night were very kind, and the daytime staff were lovely as well, but Karen truly went above and beyond with her hospitality. As I am diabetic and wasn’t feeling very well, Karen regularly checked on me to make sure I was okay. She would gently knock on my door just to ensure I didn’t need anything and that I was safe. That level of care meant so much to me. She also helped me settle in and assisted when one of the water taps was only giving hot water and the cold water wasn’t working properly. I genuinely felt cared for and supported during my stay. I would absolutely come back to this place again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere welcoming, kind, and understanding.

I regularly stay at Whitley Travelodge. Its immaculately clean, with helpful friendly staff, especially Karen and Shoaib. Perfect for a comfortable night's sleep. .

Stayed over for a night for an event nearby and its a fairly quiet location with a pub infront if you're interested. Kanchan at reception was very welcoming and let us know about any instructions. The room was spacious, clean, and did the job for the night. Decent for the price and what you expect.

Paid £30 for a Tuesday night. No breakfast or early check in needed, so very basic requirements and they met them all. Reception staff attentive and friendly welcome. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. .The tv worked and the room was warm enough yet not too hot to sleep. The bed was comfy enough. Stayed here once before in Jan and was fine then too. If you want a bed for the night and simple room set up. You could do a lot worse than this.

Visiting family in the area & had a pleasant stay. Staff all very friendly & hotel is very clean, close by to all amenities & a good local bus service, will definitely stay again when visiting in the area.
