Very close to city center with access to food late at night. 15 minute walk to Train station. The room is tidy and bathroom is neat. However there is no amenities. I paid another 10 pounds to check in early at 12. The lift was not working at the time.

This stay was a nightmare I spent 4 days at the travel lodge and on the day of my arrival there was full scale construction taking place outside of my room. The front desk service was basically never present and a sign asking to call for assistance was consistently placed there, i placed the sign on my door to have my towels changed and my trash emptied to which everyone ignored on the 3rd day I had an incident when I spilled water on my bed and asked for a change of bedding where I was told that bedding was only changed after 7 days, i will never use this hotel again.

A nice Travelodge in the Centre of Reading. Dhanu was really friendly and welcoming on reception and was a massive help with our bags. The room was comfortable and we got a good night sleep for a decent price. The room was clean and tidy and I would recommend that you ask for the quiet side so that you don't get a busy main road.

The rooms are really good and the the rooms are very comfortable. Love how the beds are clean and soft. The service here is brilliant as the staff here, especially Raj and Sujata were really helpful. Would definitely come back here the next time!

Staff were not helpful. Lift out of order and by purchasing a "super room" we had paid more to get a longer walk up stairs. We were moved after insisting my partner couldn't go up and down all those stairs with a sprained ankle, but no consideration was given to downgraded room. When we looked around the new room it smelt heavily of smoke, the carpets were dirty and stained and there was fungus growing in the floor corner

I have stayed in reading central travelodge.just wanna say all the staff was very helpfull specially sujata and dhanu they are amazing for helping me for booking and all other extra enquiry. But just wanna say hotel need refurbishment and lift always out of order.
