Best Hotels in Recco

We had a fabulous 1 night stay in he Manuelina Taste Hotel. So glad we did, it's a gem. Just a 15 min walk from the sea front and near to motorway access. It's a Ligurian treat. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The Manager Andrea was very informative and had excellent local knowledge. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the excellent Bistro. The food was prepared and presented to perfection, very reasonably priced and so very good. If we lived nearby we would be eating there often. The decor and the atmosphere in the Bistro complemented the wonderful food. I'm so pleased that I booked to watch the fantastic Recco Focaccia ”IGP” being prepared and cooked. Giancarlo is a master of his trade and the demonstration was informative, fun and VERY DELICIOUS. The Focaccia is SO GOOD. So good that I ate more in the Bistro later ! Our room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities. We look forward to returning to this gem and eating the Ligurian specialities plus enjoying Giancarlo's Focaccia again. Compliments to all the staff.

Breakfast was absolutely terrible, small selection of food, old bread, you must order coffee from the staff and that takes forever, also 10 additional euro for pancakes/waffles/french toast etc. awful. our room always smelt like a garbage, cleaners were also horrible, they always made our bed bud never added shampoo, conditioner and that kind of stuff. Also I had always had a string of their hairs on my pillow (gross). Overall the bathroom was not nice, dirty shower and not very 5 star hotel (still dont get how this hotel is 5 star, the experience was terrible) Also we went for a dinner in this hotel and they onffers us only 4 choices of meal, ***ff? how is this 5 star hotel. The food portions were small and not very good.

The location of the hotel is good. Although it doesn't have its own beach, there is a small free public bath across the road with showers. There is a paid bath next to it, renting two chairs and an umbrella, 70 euros a day😱 is too exaggerated, we bought a parasol and a mat for only 35 euros and camped in the public bath. The beach conditions in the nearby town are better, and the price is only 45 Euros a day. Booked a sea view room with a nice view from the large balconies on both sides. The bar on the roof has a good view, 15 euros for a glass of cocktail, but there are free snacks, which is not bad👌

Such a hidden gem. We got the room with the balcony and every night you can hear the patting winds of waves on shore. Super soothing and we absolutely love it! A fantastic place to stay! Modern and convenient. Best Seaview! Love it very much . Will come back again

Hotel Metropole is one of the best in all of Italy! My wife and I returned for the 3rd straight year in a row (all the way from San Diego, California, U.S.) because of the incredible beauty of the hotel and manicured landscape, fitness spa for my wife, spectacular location on the Mediterranean Sea, wonderful hotel restaurant, and of course the very friendly hotel management and staff who always treats us as if family and the hotel always accommodates our request for a special nostalgic room during our stay! Real nice location (very close to the boat port and Seawall of Camogli ) and also real nice service. Room is very clean and suitable but pity bathroom is little bit small .The house owner is really warm-hearted person and very willing to give some suggestions to us . When u enjoy ur coffee behind the best sunset you’ll know its worthy for everything

The staff were all fantastic and very helpful at dealing with our requests, helping us book taxis etc. The room was clean and pleasant with a nice bathroom and shower, the continental breakfast buffet was great and the views from the pool were great. The booking system for the pool meant you had a guaranteed slot but could only use it once a day. It is a shame that it costs so much money to use the beach, particularly paying $50 for two sunbeds when there's only one of you. I would happily stay again if you could use the private beach for free as a guest.

Very beautiful sea view hotel, very new facilities, comfortable bed, good internet speed, bars, restaurants and swimming pool, convenient transportation, many restaurants around, beach outside the hotel, walking distance to yacht dock and shops. There is parking in the hotel, but it costs 20 euros a day.
