I booked my rooms through *******, which the front desk pointed out to me twice as explanation as to why I was given 2 terrible rooms. They were 2 levels below the lobby and only accessible by stairs. The rooms were old and musty. I had a sprained ankle and was using stairs for the first time. No one seemed to care, and I had no idea this was the setup. It is a very long walk from the check-in area to these basement rooms. I said that I booked the hotel because it was recently renovated and they said only the rooms above the lobby level were renovated. To make matters worse, I was in town for my father’s funeral, and had a terrible night sleep due to the fact that the AC would blast, then completely shut off then blast again throughout the night. While the front desk staff was friendly and I’m sure good at their job, the hotel misrepresented the rooms and if they are going to give you dumpy rooms because you book through *******, then they shouldn’t sell the rooms through *******.
