Got room for 2 nights, reasonably priced, bed very comfortable, couple of stains on pillows, guys wer drinking outside leaving beer cans around. Close to restaurants and gas station which is a plus. Front desk people wer nice and helpful. Saw one palmetto bug, rooms could use a Lil update but other than that my experience wasn't bad. I'd definitely stay there again.

Let me start by saying that I could tell that the hotel has made an attempt at updates, but from what I saw most were not done well. It looks like there was a lot of focus on updating the lobby and the rest of the hotel was an afterthought. The trash cans were overflowing. Housekeeping hadn’t closed our door when they ‘cleaned’ the room before we checked in. A dead palmetto bug (ie a southern giant roach) had been overlooked under the desk. The air conditioner and the front of the refrigerator were filthy. The smoke detector was missing and there was just bare wires hanging down from the ceiling. And to add to the wonder experience, the bed was lumpy. I did like that there was a kitchenette in the room but with all the other issues I don’t see us returning.

Nothing like the pictures. We had 2 rooms and both were not what was promised. Toilet seat was disgusting, could not use it. the tub was peeling a nasty, sheets had stains on them, inside door latch was missing, rusted out ice bucket and lamps. Trash piled up outside by entrance. Manager is rude and obnoxious. Did not care about room condition and charged for full stay after we checked out after 1st night. Finally received credit 22+ days later on all but 2 nights. I had to pay for a night I didn't stay. Called corporate and was told I would receive a full refund then they suddenly had no record of it. Absolute nightmare dealing with hotel and corporate. Choice hotels has lost my business.

Honestly surprised this hotel even got the rating it did! The photos are very deceiving. Toilet clogged, the laminate on the door was falling off, there was mold in the corners of the bathroom and just a poor overall update. Would absolutely never stay at this hotel again. Just felt dirty.

It was a very clean room, the cleaning staff did a nice job. We really liked that there is no carpeting. You can walk to a few fast food locations. The property needs to repair the front access door to building. Five minutes from Coastal Carolina University.

MILITARY DISRESPECT! A 10pm email about my apparently cancelled military rate reservation for the next evening!? The front desk said corporate cancelled it..lie! It was already rebooked at higher gouging rate. Corporate greed! USA???

This Econo Lodge was perfectly located for me, short drive to Myrtle Beach. Spotless, newly updated, quiet location and friendly staff. And the price was budget friendly. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

I strongly advise if you are planning to stay here not to do so. Problem with toilet flushing. I had to pour water in tank every time. Let corporate know about issue. They ignored me. Will never stay here at one of their other locations.

The area next to the motel had lots of stores, restaurants, etc. It seemed very comfortable and reasonably safe. However, upon arrival, I was informed that there was something amiss with my room’s hot water. Because of this, the owner gave me a free upgrade to their other hotel (which was EXTREMELY nice). Excellent customer service.
