Red Lion Hotel Redding

There is no fan in the bathroom. The air conditioner flaps rattle. If you turn the air conditioner on high it crackles as well. The sliding door lock screw thing is worrisome.

Very dated hotel. Dark rooms and dingy feeling. Squeaky bed that I could feel the springs. It did have a patio

You get what you pay for here, at red lion. Someday has purchased the property so hopefully that will help. The room was unbearably hot, the AC not doing the job. They sent a technician and it got better but still hovered around 70 -72 degrees. The vinyl flooring they put in years ago is bubbly in every room we’ve ever stayed in, as the subfloor is a mess. There often is someone parked in an EV charging spot and they are not charging nor could they as their car is gasoline based. GRRR. Not the property’s fault here tho. It’s conveniently located, which is nice. And staff are typically helpful and pleasant.

The room didnt have AC as advertised and reached temperatures exceeding 80 degrees causing both me and my wife tonhave adverse health effects like vomiting

The pics on the app look absolutely nothing like in person. Red Lion is so run down, it stank and honestly felt unsafe. Some of the guests seemed as if they live there. The room was not very clean. I would absolutely not recommend. Staff was ok.

Staff was great, and delivered an extra blanket to my room quickly. Room was clean, bed comfortable.

Staff was excellent. Had to make a last minute reservation and they were extremely accommodating. Great location, close to restaurants and easy access to highway

Our room, and the hotel, was clean and specious. The staff were kind, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located in a great location with many stores and restaurants nearby. Its right off the freeway and easy to find. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was mostly clean but there was dust in corners. Linens were good. Heater wouldn't turn off, and the front desk wasn't helpful when contacted.
