Stayed for a few nights with my husband and dog. We received an email a few days before giving us a more suitable postcode for the hotel and it worked a treat. Great location - easy to get to A1(M) and A66. It's half an hour away from the beach at Redcar. We stayed during the heatwave and we absolutely baked, as you do in every other Travelodge. There was a fan but it just wafted hot air at us. We had two plastic key cards but one of them never worked, even after it had been reprogrammed. There's a Morrisons and a brick train sculpture within walking distance. Toby Carvery next door is very handy.

Our first stay in Richmond and whilst the King's Head had it's faults we liked it and would return. The hotel could not be better located on the market place in the centre of Richmond, and building itself is a splendid mix of traditional with a more contemporary bar and restaurant area. Our room was a standard double which was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Any failings could be put down to the historic nature of the building, and therefore forgiven. Service for breakfast was on the tardy side of relaxed, but when it arrived the food was very nice, this was also the case for dinner but here one of our main courses left a little to be be desired on the taste front.

Afternoon tea was amazing it only cost us £18 for 2 people and the staff where always on hand if u needed them. We had a 92 year old with us and she struggles walking so we asked if she could be down stairs they did it it was out of this world definitely will be doing it again

One of the friendliness hotel inns ever ! we stay often at this hotel as my husbands family live close by. The staff here can’t do enough for you and it’s nice to be recognised each visit gives it a personal touch nothing is to much trouble such a warm abs friendly atmosphere every time we go .Hotel is kept immaculate shops close by on site to a perfect location ! Another excellent overnight at Skeeby. Lovely welcome, really clean and despite being so close to A1M, quiet. Bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable bed. Cheery farewell from Chris in the morning. No cafe/restaurant at this Travelodge. We enjoyed excellent evening meal at the Shoulder of Mutton in Middleton Tyas and, as we were heading up the A66, breakfast at nearby Mainsgill Farm. All round 5*. One suggestion to Travelodge management - could you reinstate the roadside sign?
