Having visited the Maldives so many times, One&Only is my favorite hotel. 🏨Every day, opening the door to my room is greeted by stunning lagoon views and perfect weather. I especially love the hotel's facilities and services; the rooms are equipped with bicycles, allowing for leisurely strolls through the coconut groves. 👧Our Chinese-speaking butlers, Yiting and Eugene, were exceptionally excellent. Their service was prompt and responsive, and their attentiveness and consideration made communicating with them a truly pleasant experience. 🥩While there aren't many Chinese or Asian guests on the island, the Asian cuisine is outstanding, perfectly catering to my taste and considered among the best in the Maldives. ‼️What a paradise!

Cared for like a big family

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the right rating of the resort.As soon as we arrived at the airport, the luggage service was organized and professional for the Reethirah trip. The reception by the Resort Manager and the Staff was an unforgettable experience. The host, Hameed, a very kind person, was very helpful, gave a short tour of the facilities and then we arrived at the villa. The villa was the villa of our dreams. The food was worthy of our expectations. We only stayed for 2 days but it seemed that it was enough to feel calm.

I had an amazing first trip to the Maldives at One&Only. Water, beach and food are 10/10. The staff here were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. I traveled with an injured leg and crutches, but they made my entire stay feel so easy, and comfortable. A special thank you to my host, Yiting! She arranged different activities for me and my mom depends on our need and made sure everything was taken care of.

I had a fantastic experience at One & Only Reethi Rah. One of the best resorts I have been to, and this is compared to the most luxurious and exclusive resorts in Europe and Asia. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the airport and transportation team. Me and my partner were lucky to have the yacht for exclusive use and there were 5 crew members taking care of the two of us. Upon arrival on the island, we were greeted by our host, Yiting, alongside many members of the team. As we arrived quite late in the evening, we hopped on a buggy and did a private check-in in our water villa and had a quick shower. Then we were picked up to enjoy a 3 course meal at Reethi Earth. Although it is included in the half-board package, the quality is good and service is impeccable. The next days were exciting, adventurous, relaxing, and calming at the same time. The spa is great. The house reef tour is well organised and gives you something to see on this island not known for underwater features (they added one tour for us because the waitlist was considerable). The tennis and padel courts are seldom occupied, so you can basically use it whenever you want. The dolphin encounter was delightful, with the crew members talking through the folklores of the dolphins and helping take a lot of photos and videos. Yiting went above and beyond and arranged for me to join two of the staffs’ football matches, which was great fun. Yiting was very responsive, personal, thoughtful, and always anticipated my needs. My partner had something small go into her foot and Yiting quickly escorted us to the clinic in 10 minutes, where surface numbing and extraction with a needle was performed and we were able to get on with our day. Overall, the vast majority of the staff here is warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and know when to approach you vs. give you private space and exclusivity. It is very easy to take stunning pictures because it is so beautiful everywhere, and we were blessed with blue skies and very little rain, even in what is usually considered “off-season”. Tipping is appreciated, but never hinted at or certainly never requested, which you would expect from a resort of this calibre. I almost feel like I had exclusive use of the island, with a staff:guest ratio feeling like 3:1 or 4:1. Maybe this is because half of the island (I estimate 60% of the villas) are closed for refurbishment. It’s very hard to think about ways to improve, perhaps 1)higher dining credits (currently 80USD per head) when dining at restaurants not Earth. With the 18% tax plus 10% service charge it can add up quick 2)extend the breakfast hours. Currently it ends at 10:30, would be nice to have an option to sleep in and come a little later 3)a little more guidance around where the best diving spots are, and a brochure of the sea creatures you are likely to encounter. I am a geek in these sort of things and want to know what I am looking at, and can sometimes feel a little lost when diving by myself. However,

We had such a wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment. The resort was beautiful, and everyone made us feel so welcome. She was so kind, attentive, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and care made all the difference. We can’t wait to come back!

One & Only Reethi Rah is a wonderful experience rather than a resort. We were picked up at the airport by their representatives and within minutes heading out in the luxurious high speed yacht for a 45 minute ride to One & Only, where we were warmly welcomed by their great staff. Traveling around the island is on electric buggies or by bicycle on winding shady paths. Our over water villa was comfortable, well equipped and very well maintained. Too many features to list, but there was really nothing missing. The attentive housekeeping staff kept supplies replenished and the villa tidy. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning in the main dining area, and for dinner there is a great selection of restaurants from which to choose. We also paid several visits to the excellent spa for massages. The spa is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the staff are outstanding. Our host, Hussein, looked after us very well arranging dining, scuba diving, buggies and answering all our questions. Service is excellent everywhere and staff are always welcoming and obliging. We had a great stay here and the only difficult part was leaving.

After a very tough and intensive year this was one of the most beautiful places i could imagine to replenish and rejuvenate. We flew from Dubai and spent only 4 days. I dream of returning

This hotel is truly on another level. The service is incredible. There is food for every taste. What I liked the most, to be honest, was the food, because there are a lot of healthy dishes, all kinds of vegetarian options, and many different menus. The staff is also very kind. Many thanks to our host, Tonya. The villa is pleasant as well. Overall, I can only say good things about this resort. We would definitely come back again.

Quite comfortably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Been lucky enough to stay at other One & Only’s, Four Seasons, Rosewood’s, Ritz Carlton’s, Mandarin Oriental’s, St Regis etc over the world and none come close to this. It’s quite obviously beautiful, and is extremely well maintained, but all of the staff go the extra mile to ensure you have the best time. It’s hard to pick out individual names, but in particular, our host Yiting and Fadde who managed Tapasake were both exceptional. On top of this, all of the food was world class and is worth coming for alone. We can’t wait to return for longer next year and see some of the renovations!

Even breakfast became an experience we looked forward to every morning. The attention to detail across the resort is extraordinary. Bicycles waiting outside your villa, perfectly curated interiors, immaculate beaches, tranquil spa treatments, and endless activities — snorkelling with vibrant marine life, paddleboarding in calm lagoons, or simply doing absolutely nothing in paradise. What makes One&Only Reethi Rah so special is that it manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time. It is luxurious without ever feeling pretentious, exclusive yet deeply relaxing. Every corner of the island is designed to create a sense of peace, beauty, and escape from the world. We have travelled extensively and stayed in some of the finest hotels globally, but Reethi Rah exists in a category entirely of its own. It is not just a resort; it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. Quite simply, one of the most magical places on earth.
