"First, we paid for a room with a pool view, but when we arrived, we were given a room without a pool view. It took some time (approximately 2 hours) and some convincing, but the manager was able to relocate us to a room with a pool view. When we arrived in the new room, we were pleased with the location and space; however, the furnishings appeared old and not well-maintained; most wooden furniture contained many scratches, the dresser drawers in the bedroom were off the rails and not easily opened, seating on the couch in the living room was impossible, as one almost sank to the floor when attempting to sit on the couch. The overall style and look of the furnishings were just old. It's so sad for a hotel with a great location and upscale reputation."

"This is one of our favourite hotels anywhere. We took our entire three generation family there from the UK a couple of years ago and this year we effectively added a two day stay onto a two week villa rental vacation just so that we could revisit the hotel and play the golf course. We did have a few complaints about two things. We visited the Italian restaurant’ Cala Bella’ and whilst we enjoyed most of our starters we didn’t really enjoy our main courses with the food feeling pre prepared and warmed up rather than fresh. We sent some back and there was no quibble about taking these off the bill but it was a disappointing dining experience. For that money in a top class hotel everything should be freshly prepared  We felt that some of the charges were excessive, a 20% service charge on a $30 self serve breakfast buffet is scandalous . Similarly $32/day for self parking felt excessive.  This was our third visit to this hotel- will there be a fourth ?"

"1. Initially we were put in a very substandard room. I had to complain to the front desk and then they moved us to an acceptable one (why didn't they do that in the first place?) 2. We stayed for 5 nights and only on the last day did they clean the room...unacceptable 3. Nobody is ever at the front desk to answer the phone when you call for something so you literally had to go downstairs in the cold to talk to someone 4. The carpet outside the room (#10308) and along the entire walkway to the elevator was soaked with water from a leak somewhere. On a positive side, the bartender was very nice and the Manager was very helpful when we eventually spoke with her."

"This was pretty much a great mother/daughter shopping trip that had been awesome up until the last evening. Our condo was clean, we didn’t get hounded by sales people, it was nice knowing you had to have a key card to get into the gates etc. pretty much a false sense of security I guess. Some time between 8:30 our last night there and 9:00 the next morning someone decided to “key” my vehicle. Now, when I say “key” it let me specify by saying there are three specific lines from the headlight to the rear fender of my the drivers side of my SUV. It has three very specific “dips” and lines that were not a quick walk by. This was specific. It’s very unfortunate that even though I was parked in front of the building there are no cameras covering the front of the bldg. I’m waiting now to hear from the Security Office what, if anything, they plan on doing. Very disappointed that this would happen at a Hilton property."

"We liked our stay at this hotel. Liked the location and our room. Staff are accommodating. Breakfast was good but hopefully a breakfast buffet will be available too so as to have more options for the free breakfast included. Definitely would rebook here for future travels and staycations."

"It looks like a big hotel, but the service is really not up to par. The room service came the next day, but I didn't get up, so they took an hour to come, and then they never showed up again. They recommended two things to me during my stay, the first one was when I checked in, and the second one was a phone call directly to the room one morning. Not a good experience."

"We stayed here for the early admission to the park, and for the shuttle bus. The location is so convenient for the park, and it was the best division to stay here. Rooms are nice, hotel is spacious, we had only one day to do Universal/ Islands of Adventures, but by staying here and the express pass we literally did everything in one day. Just make sure to use their 7 AM shuttle bus! The pool is pretty, but it’s too cold to swim in January. Would def recommend this hotel!"
