Glacier House Hotel & Resort

The location is beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately far from the main town which is not practical for those like me who don't own a car. There is taxi service for about $30 to get to town, which is actually less than other vacation spots in BC, and the area itself of the hotel is a good getaway from anything loud. I enjoyed my time here. Nice pool, hot tub and sauna. Breakfast is included which is practical but the resto is closed in evenings due to Covid. You can order food if needed.

***Must Visit*** my girl and I enjoy travelling, dining, fun adventures and great hotels. Since Revy is so special to us we decided to spend our anniversary and my wife’s birthday here- such a perfect stay! After touring across Canada/US/Europe we are extremely impressed with the luxury experience in this lovely boutique hotel. It is historic, chic, spacious and very well designed! Upon our arrival we had wonderful sparking wine, treats and a nice welcome card... we were so blessed to have Maria and Alice look after us. Both were so helpful, gave great suggestions and ensured our stay was perfect- beyond Fairmont service! 3 nights was not enough as we could have easily spent weeks here. It is welcoming, the staff really care and work exceptional hard and the owner Steve loves providing a true boutique hotel experience for his guests. Of the hundreds of hotels we have experienced this ranks in the top 10 in the value, design, level of service and with the top tier Quartermaster restaurant. Can’t wait to see Explorer’s Society all across Canada/Us and show people what TRUE Boutique hotels are all about! World class quality and service- we will be back!

This is a place where we rest on the way from Vancouver to Banff. Grizzly Town is a small town with few people. This hotel is the best hotel in the town. It is a 3-minute walk from the supermarket and the room facilities are clean. Hygiene, the only dissatisfaction is that the treadmill in the gym is leaking! Leakage! Leakage! ! ! !

The best hotel I have stayed in Vancouver for 2 weeks in Banff. I will not go anywhere else in the middle of going to Banff in the future. It is right to live here. The key is that this town is very cultural and impressive. I have decided to ski in winter and continue to live here.

BOTH pools the heaters were broken! At check in I mentioned I couldn’t wait to swim…NO ONE mentioned the heaters were broken! So I changed, went down and stepped in…it was beyond cold, NO way could anyone swim in it! In the morning I mentioned it at check out… she was “sorry”! My 1st vacation since Covid…not to mention things have gotten so costly, holidays are father apart…AND you should get what you pay for! I booked here because of the location AND the pool! My first stay at a Sandman… definitely not a good experience! I was not the only unhappy one either! At least I could have been offered a discount, or a voucher to the Dennys attached … anything to keep the customer happy and to show your truly unhappy with the situation!

The town is beautiful, the hotel is also very good, clean and quiet, just next to the police station, haha, the complimentary breakfast is also very good!
