First time went solo on any holiday, so I picked Iceland for my first solo trip. The hostel was quite cheap and the gentleman that was on the front desk very helpful. The hostel itself was quite clean and tidy. I stayed there for 4 nights sharing a room with other 4 people. I was lucky I got a single bed to myself. Was supposed to go back this year 2022. When I go back to Iceland I'll try and book it at Reykjavik Hostel Village. The walking distance was not far from the city center, so it was Ideal. Didn't use the kitchen so don't know how it was. I lived off take ways and the supermarket to make my money last. Very interesting place Iceland. The Golden circle is a must. Just one thing I didn't like was the shared bathroom. Sometimes you had to queue and felt rushed taking a shower.
