Reviews of Fosshotel Lind

The hotel's location is excellent, and parking is super convenient and free. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom is a bit small, but it's very clean, and the bedding is fresh and comfortable. The front desk staff are also very friendly.

We’re arrived iceland past midnight and the reception counter is still open when we reached at 2AM and able to check in with no issues. However, when we wanted to check out rushing for our next destination, the off duty staff told us to wait as the on duty staff when for a tea break and she can’t handle us.

No electrical plug for charging.  Shower area extremely small and will flood the entire bathroom.  No amenities at all with only one bottle of soap for everything.  Reception staff is nice though.

The parking Area is limited, need to search by yourself, since the parking area is full every with only 10-15 car space… Room is too small to open a 28 luggage boot… Breakfast is good, service very nice!

Clean hotel. Walkable distance to major attractions. Parking available.

Overall a good place. It was close to walk to the downtown area, and also close to many great food places and Bonus. Wish the hair dryer was different, was not as strong as I’m used to. The staff were nice and friendly too!

Very convenient location- 5mins walk to the Main Street and a food market close by

not a very good experience with this hotel due to facilities and service provided. we were caught up in a storm causing us to miss the first night of our check in. tried to ask for cancellation but not allowed, which was fair enough. And since we had to check out before 7am the next day, we asked if we can get 6 sets of breakfast to go (free breakfast included in our stay). Our request was declined because they only prepare 4 extra sets of breakfast to go everyday, no extras and if we need extras we need to let them know before noon the day before. we obviously did not know about this since we couldn't even check in previously and we reached past noon the next day. Not sure if it is part of the culture here but just want to let guests know that be prepared to not get any help or goodwill gesture for this hotel if you are faced with any last min delays/hiccups. as for the facilities, there is quite a lack of plugs available in the rooms. the very limited ones available were quite out of reach too.

I think the hotel is a bit old with no dry and wet separation, but good location and nice staff there.

Well located and only a short walk to the city centre-old town. Bathrooms/shower is too small for use. Beds are comfortable. limited services offered at the accomodation.

Good location & service Clean room Good breakfast So close to main church in town

Overall it's okay, but the toilet is cramped and the hot water isn't hot enough.

Overall, it was okay. The receptionist was nice, and the facility was quite good as well. However, please note that parking is limited. If you arrive too late, you may need to park outside, where payment is required until 9 PM.

good overall, close to bus stop
