The room is very clean and quiet, and the breakfast is also good.

You could not class this as a hotel, more a serviced room. No reception or restaurant/bar and as it is out of the center of town it’s not easy to find food. The paint in the room was peeling at the ceiling and the bath towel was frayed. The blind was broken so we could not close it. Breakfast was average. Not up to the standard we had received in the other basic accommodation throughout our seven days in Iceland. Would not recommend.

Great location, free on-street parking. They had a hair dryer and it was comfortable.

When I gave the reason why we were unable to stay on the original dates I expected a reasoned response. The latter was not received simply stating that cancellation was effected. The hotel in question knows full well that this time is high season and can easily let the same room be occupied by another party effectively recovering at least 75% of their expected cost if not the full cost. Thus I would expect a minimum refund of 82.5% from the hotel and Trip.Com .
