Avalon Boutique Suites Hotel

Stayed overnight at the Avalon on arrival in Rhodes before getting the ferry to Symi the following morning. Also booked an overnight stay on return from Symi before flying back to London the following day. Avalon is very convenient to the ferry port and is situated in a quiet street only a few minutes walk to the bustling Old Town. Rooms are spacious, air conditioned, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast served in the beautiful courtyard. Management and staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
Amphitryon Boutique Hotel

Allegedly, it has a 4*, but it doesn't even deserve a 1 star. The room was unsanitary and gross. Also, it was cramped and didn't have a wardrobe. The bathroom was even worse, with a dirty sink and a shower that didn't even have a functional door. During our stay, the towels weren't changed, and when they ”were”, it was obvious that the cleaning lady had taken our dirty towels from the floor, folded them back, and put them on our beds. We even complained to the staff, and they blamed our tourist agent for not informing us about their cleaning policy. They were unhelpful, unprofessional, and grumpy. The power went out pretty often, and for one whole night, we also didn't have water. One night, after the power came back, water was leaking from the light in the bathroom. We complained to the staff, and they said that it was safe to turn on the lights and blamed it on the wildfires. The Wi-Fi was horrible; it varied depending on the room, but I constantly had a problem reconnecting to it and actually using it. I have only one positive comment. The lady who greets guests and works as a bartender in the restaurant was polite and always brought us joy when we had dinner. All in all, stay away from this hotel; it isn't worth a single penny.
April Luxury Suites - Adults Only

Atmospheric & Cosy, chic & elegant, relaxing & quiet, April Luxury Suites has it all. We stayed at the Phoebe Suite, with the golden-white & bronze colours. Such regal atmosphere! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom spacious and beautiful! The breakfast was both tasty and bountiful, with traditional Greek plates and classic buffet items. Our hostess Dido, served as an excellent advisor for our daily excursions with plenty of suggestions as to what to do, where to go and whom to meet! All in all, an excellent 3 day experience! Thank you! ❤️🌻❤️

A delightful small hotel close to the old city of Rhodes. The room was fantastic with views out across the pool. The breakfast buffet is something out of this world catering for every taste possible, be prepared for a long breakfast! The pool is not heated but this doesn't really matter as it is refreshing to dip into when lounging around the pool. Staff were friendly helpful and delightfully polite, and George the lifeguard could not be more helpful going beyond the bounds of his role every day. Book a deluxe room overlooking the pool, rooms at the rear of the hotel overlook an archaeological site, not unpleasant but not as colourful as the pool aspect. We were B&B only and the walk into the old city is not far with hundreds if not thousands of tavernas to choose from, try to get at least one meal in one of the upstairs restaraunts. So a fantastic week - weather was hot and sunny and we really enjoyed it, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we will be returning.
Stay Rhodes Hostel

Convenient location, friendly helpful staff, spacious accesible kitchen with lots of cutlery and other options for prep. Ovens and stovetops all worked fine, and fridges had lots of space. Staff had tips on local places to visit, and did outings like the highly recommended sunset sail trip. Incredible experience there What disappointed me was where I stayed in the hostel. I was put in the basement, in a room with 2 other people. The 3 beds room option does NOT work. Horrible idea, any sounds are made louder because the space is so tight. Also, during my stay, basically everyone there was sick or coughing, or something was going around. Some of the staff got sick, and a few members despite having colds or active coughs, were actively working instead of isolating or resting. I saw one member cough right into their hand then go to pick fruit to make a drink at the bar with, yikes. Some of the staff though know to be responsible and isolate... Smacked my head 5 times going to the washroom or going up and down the stairs, or under low doorways. Felt like I was a prisoner or something else by being in the basement, it really made the stay worse. Also, the room is right next to the kitchen and outdoor seating area, so all that noise comes right into your room. My suggestion: stop renting the basement out, enforce quiet hours earlier (some of the staff really did not care about that). Would not stay again, sorry. My visit to Rhodes was great except for this.
