We rented 2 cottages for4 nights to spend Christmas with our son. We stayed in Ty Cerbyd. The cottage was quaint and warm. It was reasonably equipped which made our stay comfortable. It was surrounded by other cottages that all blend together with the working farm. There was a “farm trail” - a pleasant walk around the farm although it was tricky in places due to mud and marshy ground as this time of year. We reported a fault with a WC cistern and it was repaired almost immediately. As it was Christmas, it would have been appreciated if the Christmas tree and a welcome food pack was provided. I recommend these farm cottages for their tranquility and location.

Amazing .. I’ve just spent 4 lovely days with my husband sister & brother in law.. The cottage is spacious very clean & welcoming.. Home from home.. owners very friendly .. there’s a lovely patio with a steam running past.. plenty of park.. Highly recommended.. thank you for a beautiful stay .. our furry baby loved it too. We stayed in Yr Hen Ysgol. It is an immaculate and cosy cottage right next to the river and the woods and just across from the Plas Cilybebyll Manor House. The setting is stunning and we had a lovely walk right out of the back door. The cottage has everything you need for cooking meals and having cosy nights in too! We were lucky enough to have a tour of the Manor House which is incredible.. I will definitely keep this in mind for a group celebration in the future. The rooms are gorgeous and there’s even a games room and tennis courts . The pool is such a luxury and we even got to have a dip ! Highly recommended staying in any of the accommodation here, a real gem and like stepping out of reality for a few days :)

The perfect Christmas stay, winter walks , amazing scenery, beautiful cottages . We stayed over Christmas and felt we were in the movie ‘the holiday’ . Our cottage was perfect , spotlessly clean and well equipped . The sound of the river was so relaxing and the wood fire and hot tub was a bonus . I would highly recommend a stay and it’s in an ideal location to visit so many beautiful areas . Our cottage was pet friendly and the perfect stay for long winter walks and a peaceful retreat .

Our family stayed in three separate cottages and all were perfect. We were within walking distance of each other but each family had privacy. The cottages are beautiful as are the grounds. Walks are stunning. Perfect location for treks in south Wales. Highly recommend!

Tranquil Time Away from the City A lovely stay overall! Peaceful location with a nice walking route. Would recommend for a short retreat.
