Hotel Mimosa

My experience at this hotel unfortunately fell short of expectations, especially considering it's a 3-star property. The food quality was rather disappointing. Leftovers from the previous day were often served, and the wine served at table was of poor quality: drinkable only with meals, but on its own it tasted of pure alcohol, lacking any pleasant flavor. The breakfast buffet offered only the bare minimum. The selection was limited and lacking in variety, without any extra touches. This was the most critical point of our stay. The housekeeping service was very neglected. From the very first day, the lady in charge stated that she had difficulty making the bed, and despite my understanding, the bunk bed was made only once in a week. The same problem with towels: we found ourselves without them several times and had to ask for them. The hotel is in an excellent location for young people, as it is very close to discos and nightlife venues. However, it is absolutely not recommended for families or older people, as the music can be heard until 2 a.m. The hotel itself isn't run-down, but it needs a serious overhaul in terms of management and staff. Attention to detail and quality of service, both essential elements for a 3-star establishment, are lacking. It's ideal only for those seeking affordable accommodations close to nightlife and with modest expectations. Those seeking comfort, tranquility, and adequate service should look elsewhere.

Nothing is going well, no one speaks French even though when you book, they know perfectly well how to ask you for a deposit in French. AMEX card not accepted although mentioned on the site. Cleaning not done, mopping the carpet in the corridors (!!!!) Dirty and abandoned rooftop. Towels stained and not changed for a week, blinds defective. Buffet always the same, pizzas that have nothing to do with pizzas that make you wonder if you are in Italy. We must assume our responsibilities, Madam Director Sabrina. The Mimosa Hotel is a family hotel above all: Forget the "all inclusive" and impersonal concepts of other destinations, here you enter the typical Emilia-Romagna vacation. First, the hotel: It has been renovated and has a covered and air-conditioned terrace, air-conditioned rooms, and a magnificent top floor converted into a sunbathing area, with a splendid view over the entire bay of Cattolica. It has been run by a family since the 60s (Sabrina, her husband Maurizio and mother Maria-Rosa). The staff is very professional, friendly and dedicated. The service is personalized, friendly, you can communicate with servers that you meet every day. Parking your vehicle is free, and is located approximately 100 meters away, in a large field: It is monitored and accessible via a pass given to you on arrival. The rooms are comfortable and well insulated. The equipment is standard and without frills. Meals: Breakfast is a large buffet that is taken on the terrace, it is rich and copious, with excellent coffees made fresh at the bar. Brunch, or lunch buffet, is also served on the terrace. But you will also have everything you need to take it to the beach (cutlery, boxes, etc.) consisting of fresh fruit, piadine (typical Romagna pancakes) that we will prepare for you at the minute (with ham , cheese, egg). Finally, the evening meal is a whole concept in itself: You choose your starter and main course in the morning from 3 choices. A permanent buffet is available to enhance your meal with salads, raw vegetables and various fried foods. One thing is certain: you will never be hungry when you leave the table! The beach: The beach, in Emilia-Romagna, is made up of numbered bathing areas which line up all along the coastline. In your area, you will have one umbrella or tent per room, and the appropriate number of deckchairs. The hotel includes this beach service (even though it is very expensive, it is a real advantage) and has an agreement with several bathing areas. As soon as you arrive, you will be able to choose your zone from 5, and will have numerous services at your disposal: Showers, volleyball court, fitness, swimming pool, etc. For seaside and family holidays, it's ideal! Supervised swimming, games for children, and maximum level of security: You leave your bag at the beach without worry during the buffet break, you go to the sea to play in the water without hassle. The bathroom area staff is on hand for minor ailments, and cleans and tidies up every evening. If you have slightly older children, a water park is about 200 meters away with two sets of slides and swimming pools. The hotel will provide you with an unlimited access card for the duration of your stay. The overall principle is quite simple: Once you arrive, everything is done to ensure peace and quiet for the duration of your stay: You and your children can alternate between beach, swimming pool, hotel, in complete peace of mind.

terrible hotel in the outskirts of riccione. it is located on the border with the southern area of ​​rimini so you can imagine the rednecks that hang around in this area. apart from the presence of low-quality places (kebab) and bars frequented by bad guys, there is a constant coming and going in the area of ​​young maghrebians who are ****** and of terrible appearance. the hotel itself seems stuck in 40 years ago, old furniture and an air of a dilapidated pension from times gone by. then the sadness of the room at the back overlooking a condominium in the style of an algiers shanty town... mattresses thrown on the balconies, dirt on the floor, in short an end-of-the-world air. the breakfast then of unique misery. the electrical socket of the bedside table was broken, in the bathroom a miserable ridiculous sachet with liquid soap for two people to wash, the pillowcases with holes and a mattress that in the morning will remind you of how hard it was.... the beds? two miserable RSA-style beds. The embarrassingly large room where you can't even move and organize your suitcases. A place that will never see us again,

I stayed at this hotel for the first time in July, I enjoyed it so much that I decided to return for another 10 days in August. Welcoming and reserved owners. Very kind staff, prepared and always available to satisfy every request. Excellent location a few steps from the beach. Excellent and varied cuisine. Comfortable and clean rooms. I have been frequenting Riccione for several years and have experienced different hotel categories and the quality-price ratio of the Mimosa is unbeatable. Thank you for this beautiful holiday.... Large room, dinner and breakfast buffet very satisfactory but: shower clogged on our arrival, bath towels with holes and not changed during the 5 nights of the stay, cleaning not done apart from a mop on the floor, the staff is correct but less you ask for it and the better it is, no information on our arrival as to the possible beaches included in the price with deckchairs and parasols, the same for the swimming pool 200 meters from the hotel and not 50 meters as mentioned on the offer (if you don't ask, we don't tell you anything). No one speaks French, very approximate English. Aging hotel, just like its owners who should perhaps hand over to more friendly, outgoing and commercial people. Overall very disappointed, I nevertheless paid €1300 for 5 nights with half board for 2 adults and 2 children. Finally, when we are on vacation, it is not normal for the cleaning lady to come and wake us up at 8 a.m. for the little cleaning she was doing. We will not go back

The Mimosa hotel is a very nice family-run hotel, conveniently located, offering excellent services. Found by chance while surfing the net, it fully met our expectations. Large rooms, excellent food, beach service, parking and bicycles available for customers. The staff is wonderful, patient, kind, competent and attentive. We will be back

Family stay and truly beautiful holidays. The room was excellent with space (there were 5 of us), large balcony, room always nice and clean, the food was really good, the side dish buffet was well stocked. The complete staff very friendly and helpful. The situation close to the centre, metromare etc... Free entry to the nearby Beach Village... I stayed at the Mimosa hotel for the long weekend of June 2nd and July 2nd and I found myself very well, beautiful rooms, very helpful and approachable staff and owners, excellent breakfast. Definitely a hotel worth considering when going to Riccione
