Our first stay in Richmond and whilst the King's Head had it's faults we liked it and would return. The hotel could not be better located on the market place in the centre of Richmond, and building itself is a splendid mix of traditional with a more contemporary bar and restaurant area. Our room was a standard double which was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Any failings could be put down to the historic nature of the building, and therefore forgiven. Service for breakfast was on the tardy side of relaxed, but when it arrived the food was very nice, this was also the case for dinner but here one of our main courses left a little to be be desired on the taste front.

One of the friendliness hotel inns ever ! we stay often at this hotel as my husbands family live close by. The staff here can’t do enough for you and it’s nice to be recognised each visit gives it a personal touch nothing is to much trouble such a warm abs friendly atmosphere every time we go .Hotel is kept immaculate shops close by on site to a perfect location ! Fantastic place!! We stayed for 1 night, wish it had been 2. We chose a standard double then chose to upgrade for only an extra £10. It was a good move. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had complimentary supplies. The hotel itself beautiful, staff very friendly. The spa facilities are gorgeous. Luckily we had the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves for a little while. The restaurant is delightful. The decor tasteful. The food was good as was the breakfast the next morning. Yep, we will definitely be going back. It was faultless.
