I had a great six day stay at the Delta Marriott. The location is very good, close to the downtown and the river. I had a large room with a view of the river. The staff are really great.

This is a great place to stay if you are attending a concert at the new amphitheater: just a couple of blocks away, and well lit and safe feeling.
However, charging $28.00 to park overnight seems ridiculous to me. What a rip-off.

The sink was filthy, there was a HUGE roach in the bathroom and the manager at the front desk was so rude and wouldn’t give me her name. It was the worst Marriott experience of my life.

Very nice night away
We do not have one complaint about our stay! The bedding and bathrooms were crisp and clean. Short walk to the Allianz Amphitheater. Front desk folks were kind and helpful. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Richmond!

I am surprised that no reviews mention the roaches. We ended up leaving early in the morning after finding 3 baby roaches in our bathroom, scurrying when the light was turned on with one finding cover in our soap dish by the bathroom sink. I was able to kill them but was too grossed out to stay longer.
Many guests had issues with their cards not activating properly which staff promptly attempted to fix and elevator lines did have long wait at times. Staff were pleasant and the hotel did its job by being close to the venue we were attending.
