Hotel location is very good, the room is very clean, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the price is super high.

Hotel located near the metro and McDonalds, just opposite there is a mall and a chinese/international supermarket. There are also many restaurants in walking distance. The lobby, gym, and room are a little old but overall quite clean. Best part of the stay was the bed - super soft and comfortable! However, there wasn’t any amenities such as toothbrush, comb, or facial puffs (there wasn’t any in the room and we brought our own anyway so we didn’t ask for it). Hotel shuttle from the airport was late (we had to use the free call booth) but the departure to the airport was okay.

It was a very good location. Just a little bit noisy. If you are in the front part of the hotel as its facing the highway. I would recommend to ask for the rooms at the back. Bedding was clean. The room was clean. No odour. A very good economical price hotel. The room setup It's like a motel, As you come in from outside. Hotel has very nice night lighting. Overall, it is a good price hotel.

(My name is anonymized to protect my identity for this review) This review was delayed due to an ongoing police investigation about our stay here in the Versante Hotel. My wife and I booked our stay at the Versante hotel, originally from Monday, August 29th until Saturday, August 3rd. We booked the penthouse suite on the 14th floor and loved it so much that we cancelled our reservations at the Fairmont hotel, just so we can extend our stay before we go to the airport for our family trip on the 6th. What we thought was going to be one of the most relaxing stays through our hotel experience quickly turned into a nightmare at the Versante hotel. It was a betrayal of trust from the Versante hotel staff and what Versante portrayed their company’s values to be. I would like to mention there were a few notable staff members that were exceptional and compassionate, and it’s a shame that this experience would reflect poorly on the hard working individuals who really tried to make our stay memorable. What had occurred in your hotel with the staff members that you hired to take care of your guests was unbelievably heartbreaking and I do not wish for anyone to go through what my wife and I had to witness.  On Tuesday, August 30th we booked for a hot stone massage at Spa Versante and confirmed our booking for a shuttle the next day at 3:45PM. Manager Yasin was the one who had confirmed our shuttle booking for the spa the next day at 3:45PM. On Wednesday, August 31st at 315PM we received a call from our hotel room (1404) from Nini, the front desk receptionist. Nini asked to confirm if we had booked a shuttle for 330PM. We then told her it was confirmed for 345PM. She said OK and we hung up. At 345PM my wife went downstairs to meet the shuttle that we had booked the day before for my wife’s spa appointment. There was no shuttle. My wife asked the Valet who was there and he asked her for her name and said it was not ticketed. He then took my wife to the receptionist who was working at the front, named Nini, and asked about the shuttle booking. My wife informed her about her appointment at the spa and shuttle booking, which should have made it obvious to Nini that the booking was for the Versante Spa further away. Nini then told her there was no shuttle that goes to the spa and it only goes to YVR. Ultimately, Nini said my wife wasn’t booked for a shuttle. When my wife told her we had received a phone call from her (at 315PM) to confirm our shuttle, Nini had denied making any calls to our room. Nini then told my wife there wasn’t a shuttle coming and pointed at the door and told her to walk. Nini did not provide any help or resolution, she had dismissed my wife’s needs as a guest and failed to provide her with adequate information for her confirmed bookings at Versante Spa. It was only two girls working, Nini and Monica at front desk. Upon speaking in person with Nini, my wife recognized her voice on the phone. She had denied ever calling my room to confir

All Holiday Inns I've stayed in have been excellent, but this one is above the rest. The rooms and amenities were standard and the breakfast was like every other Holiday Inn Express. BUT, what set this one above the rest was the staff. My wife and I were unfamiliar with the area. The desk staff of Julian and Yashman did an incredible job of telling us about local places to eat and visit. They gave us precise instructions on the bus and train systems and how to visit the Vancouver locations we wanted to see. They went well beyond their normal duties to make our visit a success. Julian's and Yashman's attention to detail and outstanding customer service were exemplary.

We encountered a really bad arctic blast and we booked the Hilton on a whim as we felt we couldn't continue up the mountain in the dark. Per the TA norm the photos did not match the actual rooms at all. This hotel is terribly dated and is due for a remodel. The restaurant is mediocre and service not great. Bitterly cold temps outside and the entire main lobby floor was absolutely freezing. All of that said, it was clean & comfortable for what we needed. Got a good night's rest and went on our way the next day. Not worth the hefty price tag though.

You could tell immediately how the hotel has been fairly new! Our family stayed for 2 nights and it was quite comfy. Not sure if there was anything we disliked. Just a couple of points: Restaurant option: Match Eatery & Public house And The Buffet We had a high expectation of the Buffet. Ah… so shame… Not worth paying so much. Trust me. Avoid the place. Internet: Connection is very strong; however, keep in mind that it is UNSECURED public connection. There was someone trying to access my personal email. Very fortunately, I had my email account secured with two way authentication. Do consider… to protect yourself by setting up the 2 way authentication… etc. Lastly, Swimming pool wasn’t ready to be opened until April.

Thank you for the opportunity to describe my Inn at the Quay experience. I was booked for a day procedure at Royal Columbian Hospital at 6:00AM on Saturday May 20. Because I was travelling from out of town and had to be driven home (as a requirement of the procedure) I elected to travel by train to Vancouver and then New Westminster on the day before, Friday. On Tuesday May 16 I booked a room at your hotel for the night of the night of Friday May 19 for $389.00 ex-taxes. My plan was to take a cab to the Hospital and then my daughter was then going to drive to town to pick me up and drive me home after the procedure on Saturday. After travelling to New Westminster I had time to kill because I called the Inn at the Quay to see if I could get an early check in but was told that you were very busy and that was not possible. The hospital recommends attending with only your care card for security reasons. For this reason I had my BC Care Card and the credit card I used to book the room in my cellular phone case. During my wanders I lost my phone. Fortunately I had a significant amount of cash so I got a cab immediately and attended at your hotel. I explained my situation to the clerk on the desk and she said that she could not check me in without the credit card I used to book the room. I asked her if you would charge that card with the room price if I had not shown up and she agreed that that was the case. When I asked if she could just charge the card and let me stay she said that the situation was different and was against your policy. I questioned her further and she summoned a person form the back office who agreed that the situation was completely different and actually said “Sorry, we can’t help you.” When I suggested cancelling the credit card transaction and paying in cash that suggestion was also turned down. Reason was lost on these two minions that are trained to be slavishly obedient to your rules and policies. I am sure that if you question these two they will agree that I was polite and courteous throughout our encounter. After several attempts at circumventing their indifference I felt that I should leave before I started to get mad. As a competent, attentive and businesslike hotelier I am sure you are aware of the saturation in your market on any given day. If you harken back to May 19 you will recall that all of the other hotels in New Westminster and as far as Port Coquitlam were completely booked. No matter, I was able to avail myself of a comfortable chair in the admitting lobby of the Royal Columbian Hospital from 4:00PM on Friday until 6:00AM the following morning. Except of course when I had to leave the admitting lobby while the janitors polished the floors. Because the Emergency Room lobby was full I was able to meet some of the interesting local street residents that were outside at 2:30AM. The staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room was spotless. Had maid service. I would definitely stay here again. I good value.

The staff are very nice and helpful, the shuttle and the breakfast are also good. The location is around 10 mins walk to Skytrain ( I think this is the only reason, I am not used to it ) especially when I go back at night time. Otherwise it is a nice hotel and there are few restaurants around and easy access to the Famous spots Night Market in summer.
