Nice rooms s little high on the price for a 2 star hotel The indoor pool is a plus unfortunately it opens 30 minutes before check out and closes at 8 pm so much for traveling with kids who wanted to swim you would figure since they wanted me to stay there they have no problem taking your money

On the way home north from Florida when we stopped for the night w/family. Night clerk not too friendly, but she’s got a dismal job at this place. Room had Cheap linoleum flooring, dingy lighting, burn hole in bedspread & poor mattress. Quality Inn used to be decent & reliable but this one seemed like a flop house.

Wife and I were traveling back to Florida through Savannah. Unfortunately there was a 15 mile backup ahead of us with the travel time more than doubled. We decided instead of getting stuck in traffic we would cancel our reservation in Port Wentworth and stay just prior to where the map showed the back up began - Ridgeland, SC. The Choice call center did a great job of canceling our original reservation and getting us into the Quality Inn with our two small dogs. In hind site I wish we had stuck to our plan. The room was terribly dated and probably the worst room I’ve been in over 40+ years of travel. The water was a scary shade of yellow-brown as if it were well water or pipes were rusty. There was a bad smell in the room that my wife made sure I knew about by screaming that the room smelled prior to me setting foot in it. The one thing we found ironic is that the towels were very good. I will say on a positive note check in was quick and friendly and the breakfast was okay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel though.

We were traveling back from Florida. We arrived at 2am. Thankful to find a room. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful. She should leave this poor excuse for a hotel because she is way better than this place. We went in to our room. One of us had to make a bed on the floor because they didn't have any roll away cots. We were given extra blankets and a pillow for this reason. The next day I get a notification of an extra charge from this place. I called 3 times and finally was told that I had stolen a pillow! I DIDN'T NO ONE DID!!! I ALSO WAS TOLD THE OWNER REFUSED TO TALK TO ME AND WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY. REFUSES TO TALK TO ME OR TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SITUATION. HE'S A REAL TOOL.

Filthy, not dusted, kibble on the floor, shows it wasn’t cleaned. There was water running down the wall under the paint. The breakfast was pathetic! Worst biscuits I have ever had and the eggs were just like jello. The down spout outside our room was missing during a huge rain storm! The water splashing, bounced up on our door. Couldn’t park on our side of the building, because they were paving, lol, they were painting it. Just like the rest of the hotel, lipstick on a pig.

Cozy beds, clean and quiet rooms, indoor AND outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and a great little pond to walk around right across the parking lot. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Located right off the highway and next to several places to eat. This Quality Inn is just that. Quality.

I have stayed in this hotel approximately 5 or 6 times over the years when I drive to Florida. It has always been a good "bang for the buck" with clean rooms, convenient being just off of Route 95 South with a pleasant & efficient staff and a nice breakfast that was included. For this stay two weeks ago, I am being generous to give it 2 stars. The price has increased and the service has decreased. There was no breakfast at all because it is undergoing renovations. Our room had some sort of thing like sand all over the floor, the front desk initially sent us to a room that was already occupied (fortunately the occupant was in the shower and unaware that we walked into the room), there also was no "gift" which used to be a $5 gift card for Starbucks, and it was just an awful experience.

Overall an unpleasant experience. The pics don’t really resemble the current state of the place. Stopped en route to our main destination… just a place to sleep, clean up and continue. Room smelled terrible…. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke covered up with a cheap and strong plug in. There were beer cans and food packages behind the tv and microwave stand, It was not clean and didn’t feel clean, The bathroom light switch was an old timer switch that wasn’t attached to the wall. Alarm clock went off at midnight, which was pretty startling. Lots of dirt on baseboards and behind the bathroom door…. Someone else down the way was vocally livid about the state of their room, so I’m assuming it wasn’t just mine. I’d would sleep in my car before spending $100 on this place again.

I have no idea why this Inn has such a high rating. The woman at check-in is its one hood feature. To start, locating our assigned room involved walking along until we located it, then getting back in the car and driving to it. It was after dark, and the room #s weren’t lit up despite there being outside lighting on the building. Thankfully we were on the ground floor! Upon entry, the room was filthy. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, much less washed. The clock was caked in dust. The coffee maker was under a layer of dust. The plastic laundry bag was wrinkled and worn (‘green’ I guess you’d say). The TV 8.5 x 11 printout was stained, marked up, and bent. The sink had a crack running through it. Just overall disgusting. I have never seen a room so unhospitable , even at half the price. When traveling, we usually look for a fairly inexpensive place - somewhere to lay our heads and take off early the next morning. We pay $50-$100, and this was on the upped end of that price after taxes. Although advertised as offering breakfast, there was none. And on top of the fees we expected, they added a $4.52 facility$ fee at check-in. Sadly, this looks like it used to be a nice place but has been left to ruin. Find another hotel, and shame on ********** for even offering this one. If you’re still considering, on the plus side, the shower worked well (although all towels were dingy), lighting was good, our room was very quiet, the air handler worked well and after a few minutes of squeaking, was quiet.

Do not stay at this motel! Our stay started with the air conditioner cover laying on the floor in the room, the TV didn't work, and then my wife got locked in the room the manager came up and after 5 minutes got the door open went inside to show her how to open it and then he got stuck in there my wife was stuck in the room for a total of 20 minutes this place is a joke do not stay here I only gave it one star because you have to give it 1 to break this review

The floor was gritty/sandy and the mini-refrigerator was very nasty, but the linens, bedding and shower appeared to be clean. There are rooms with outdoor access and rooms with indoor access. We prefer indoor access, but those rooms cost more. Rooms with outdoor access are on a side of the building that faces the interstate and on the opposite side of the building not facing the interstate. We were placed on the side facing the interstate and experienced a LOT of interstate traffic noise, but somehow we managed to sleep. The hot breakfast included not just a waffle maker, but also scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and biscuits. However, there are no tables and chairs for dining, but there is some lounge furniture which is not accommodating when using a plate or bowl. At check-in we were told that we could also sit on the pool patio furniture, however, this area was not open during the breakfast period.

The room was fine, convenient to I-95, several fast food restaurants nearby. For reasons unknown, this hotel adds a $5 service charge to your bill, above whatever price you are quoted when booking online. Not sure if they are breaking Choice Hotels franchise rules or not, but it seems like a shady business practice.

This hotel is beat. Adequate is the best I can say about it. We found leftover KFC in the refrigerator. Clearly the room was not properly cleaned. The bed was comfortable but not great. The free breakfast was not worth mentioning. Try someplace else.
