Aston Hotel Riga

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

This is an excellent hotel with clean, spacious and gorgeous rooms. The staff are very kind, professional and attentive. The location is highly convenient, near many of Riga's best restaurants and shopping areas. Highly recommend.

Very clean and modern bathroom, good variety of amenities provided without needing to ask, overall comfortable stay. Unlucky with room allocation as we got an internal joinable room, where next door was talking loudly until late at night. Location suitability will vary per group, it is slightly out of the main centre, but not too far you can't walk. Plan ahead if you drive, they provide a carpark for additional cost, or you can park on the street outside of normal hours

Hotel room was good but no mini fridge, the hotel was clean but frustrating 2 days into our 3 day stay we was phoned advising we need to check out. The hotel got this wrong and was very frustrating however to make up for their mistake they offered us free breakfast.

Beautiful and well located, but noisy !! The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, very well located, walkable distance to old town and main attractions, breakfast really good, the only not so good thing about this hotel is the noise, the rooms are supposed to be soundproof but they are not!! I could hear somebody jumping up and down on the upper floor and somebody was opening and closing a door for like half an hour , good thing they stopped, also you can hear music coming from outside, the beds are nice, the room is small but very nice decorated and looks new, but if you’re bothered by noise like me don’t stay here, otherwise is a nice hotel!!
