I was traveling alone and was looking for accommodation at the last minute. I actually found out by chance that this hotel was reopened, so I took advantage of it right away. I have to say that it was a good decision. It is a modern, clean and friendly place to stay in Riga. Since it is located basically a few steps from the center, this hotel was a very good base for walking and exploring various interesting corners of Riga. The ratio of the quality of accommodation and services to the requested price is very favorable. In short ... a great hotel, in a good location for a good price. For me, it is definitely a thumbs up.

Stayed here for a weekend getaway and loved the self-check-in process — very smooth and modern. The room was compact but clean, with a comfy bed and surprisingly fast Wi-Fi. It's not a luxury hotel, but for the price and location (close to everything in Riga!), it's excellent value. No reception was unusual at first, but we didn’t miss it.

I really appreciated how easy everything was. Arrived late, checked in with no issues thanks to the automated system. The room had everything I needed — air conditioning, hair dryer, and reliable internet. I loved being able to walk to the art museum and old town within minutes.

I had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, and in a perfect location—central but peaceful. Freshly renovated room. What I especially appreciated was the fully digital self check-in process. I was looking for a stay with minimal interaction, and this setup was ideal. Everything worked smoothly, and I could access everything I needed without talking to anyone. Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who values privacy and efficiency. Highly recommended!

We had a truly pleasant stay at Rija Riga City Hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Old Town and close to all major attractions, yet in a quiet area perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast had a great variety and was fresh and tasty each morning. A great value for the price—we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Riga and would gladly stay here again!

Stayed here during a business trip and found it very convenient. I appreciated the clear instructions for check-in and the simple, modern room layout. There’s no breakfast or reception, but everything else was thoughtfully arranged. The nearby Maxima supermarket and central transport options made it easy to move around

Отель расположен в историческом центре (не старый город), очень много вокруг красивых улиц и зданий. Так же рядом находится ресторанная улица, с едой на любой вкус. Есть ресторанчик с местной кухней и совсем близко пекарня с вкусной выпечкой и кофе. Очень удобный матрас!!! Удобная навигация по отелю, получилось очень быстро заселиться.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Neustadt, unweit einer der schönsten Jugendstilstraßen. Zur Altstadt sind es ca. 15 - 20 Minuten zu Fuß (oder kürzer mit Trolleybus). Schöne moderne Zimmer und Badezimmer, freundlicher Empfang und prima Frühstücksbuffet bis 11 Uhr; außerdem Wifi und Fernsehen. Das Ganze ist nicht teuer, vor allem im Vergleich zu den Altstadthotels. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Nous avons pris une chambre à deux lits ( étroits ,matelas mous, vue sur un mur, petit déjeuner moyen). Bien placé dans la vieille ville mais certains taxi ne trouvent pas l'accès car l'hôtel est entouré de rue piétonnes. Personnel assez aimable
