The breakfast is good, especially the cottage cheese pancakes. The room was reasonable, but I believe furniture needs to be renovated. There aren’t enough toiletries in the bathroom. Only hand soap and shampoo. Be aware of the mosquitos. They are everywhere in the room. The hotel location is very good.

We stayed at Hestia Hotel Riga for the Riga Rimi Marathon and had to shorten our stay by one day. The receptionist confirmed it wouldn’t be a problem, gave us instructions, and told us we’d see the refund in 5 working days after submitting the form via email. That was over 2 months ago. We’ve sent multiple emails, called the hotel several times, and each time we’re told "Sorry, the manager will contact you." But of course, no one ever does. I understand it’s not the receptionist’s job to handle refunds, but the management's complete silence and lack of responsibility is outrageous. No update, no explanation, no apology—nothing. For a hotel that advertises good service, this has been incredibly disappointing. We feel scammed. Avoid this place. Spend your money somewhere that actually values its guests.

Good city hotel, in a beautiful area. Great breakfast, everyone will find something to eat.The rooms are small and modest, we got one with a view of the courtyard. You will have to walk through a large, beautiful park to get to the city center.

We stayed a night and walked to the old town. It took about 15 minutes. Our room was small, we had no room to open our cases. The bathroom was small with a shower over a bath which can be hard to get in and out for some. Breakfast was okay, at the front of the hotel.

Everything in this hotel was good but not great. Location is perfect if you want to see Riga. The front desk friendly. The breakfast buffet was good but not great. Rooms are quiet old, but clean. I stayed at winter time and in my room was a bit cold. Parking space a bit tricky, if you are driving SUV, there is not much room to park. But overall, good hotel to stay for not big money.

Considering the price and the service received, I have to say that I am satisfied with the four-day stay at the hotel. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was good, as was the breakfast, but I was most impressed by the reception staff who were always friendly and approachable and always ready to help with anything.

We had an extremely bad experience with this hotel, not one to complain usually but we were so upset about what happened. Flights got cancelled going to Munich for the weekend due to the Munich airport being closed for a few days due to the snow. We were supposed to be staying here, as we couldn’t get into the country we pleaded with the hotel for a refund so we could go back in a few weeks when the weather improved to no avail. We then asked them could we just reschedule the stay for another time and they have refused this also. While I understand a refund might be difficult to do a change of date for the stay is very normal and reasonable. Would not recommend booking if this is the after service that is the normal here. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to staying here! (It was a booking for 6 people also)

We spent here five nice days, almost whole days we been outside but every evening when we returned to the room everything was clean, prepared bad, no trash...special thanks is to young lady in the reception, Karina, for her help with our every stupid question 😁 One big + is location of the hotel, near of the centre, so you can walk without bo problem at all
