We had an extremely bad experience with this hotel, not one to complain usually but we were so upset about what happened. Flights got cancelled going to Munich for the weekend due to the Munich airport being closed for a few days due to the snow. We were supposed to be staying here, as we couldn’t get into the country we pleaded with the hotel for a refund so we could go back in a few weeks when the weather improved to no avail. We then asked them could we just reschedule the stay for another time and they have refused this also. While I understand a refund might be difficult to do a change of date for the stay is very normal and reasonable. Would not recommend booking if this is the after service that is the normal here. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to staying here! (It was a booking for 6 people also)

We spent here five nice days, almost whole days we been outside but every evening when we returned to the room everything was clean, prepared bad, no trash...special thanks is to young lady in the reception, Karina, for her help with our every stupid question 😁 One big + is location of the hotel, near of the centre, so you can walk without bo problem at all

I would like to thank Ilze from reception .she is a most wonderfull and never had that kind of help in my life.my son had an accident during our time in Riga and without her help we would not apply to manage. She is an angel and her service was something we never forget.this hotel is a best in a world and this hotel should be so proud of having person like her.Hotel was also absolutely best and should have 6 stars.service is best and hotel is beautifull,clean,comfortable..choose this hotel if you come to the Riga.

Good points. Hotel is very well situated, though not in the old town, but less than ten minutes on foot, crossing nice park. And, if one is interested in Art Nouveau, the most famous Art Nouveau street Alberta iela is only a block away. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet, too, breakfast wasvery good. Service at the counter was absolutely lovely, they provided every help and gave all advise when asked. Not so good point - only one: bed was hard and pillows were rather uncomfortable.

10 days stay. Friendly staff and comprehensive service. Perfect simple breakfast with many choices. The quilt is somewhat thin considering the present temperature. I caught a cold during the stay. And this caused a delay in my writing work and more-than-one-week acute pharyngitis, I'm still coughing when I write this review. I truly suggest the hotel offer thicker quilts to customers during winter and early spring, moreover, improve the soundproofing, I could hear my neighbours inserting jack plug and snoring during the night.

Nice quiet hotel in the Art Nouveau area, which is mostly beautiful buildings and embassies. The most interesting parts of Riga is within 10 minutes of walk. The service from the staff was extraordinary good. Always a smile and the help you needed. The breakfast was ok, and the room was fine

When we enter the hotel there are about 4-5 people smoking in the door, disgusting. The hotel is definitely over the hill. The room is old fashioned, although the beds are good. This hotel doesn’t accept Amex, because as they say it’s too expensive. OMG, is this a international hotel or a local B&B??

Breakfast was not good, old bread few choises of food/fruit etc. Cleaning under par, rubbish from prior guests both in toilet, and in bedroom. Hard beds. Fridge not cold. Generally old worn down hotell. Staff ok, but not overly service-minded.

We stayed for three nights. Luckily the location is great so we easily walk in the city centre. The breakfast was good too. The staff was helpful :) The room was clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, tha bathroom was clean. We stayed in 602, which is located in the back of the hotel, so it was quiet too. If you want a fair hotel, I recommend it: affordable but more than good. :)
