Hanza Hotel

The place was generally clean, but I think it could use some renovation. Because the interior looks quite old, it gave the impression of being less clean than it actually was. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast. As someone who doesn’t eat meat or drink regular milk, I found the food options quite limited.

Staff are nice and the quality of breakfast is not bad too. However, the bathroom’s door is kinda fragile and there is no AC in room. Should be unbearable if the heatwave arrives.

The location is excellent, with easy access to bus stops and department stores. Being able to adjust the shower pressure was also a great help. (The hotel in London the previous day had weak pressure.) The morning breakfast was delicious, and the front desk staff were very kind.

The hotel is located in a good location, easy to walk to Central Market and train station. Breakfast was included. The room was prepared everyday.

Hanza Hotel was a wonderful choice for my trip to Riga is a very cozy and atmospheric place set in a beautiful historical building. I loved that the Old Town is just a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel's location allows you to experience the authentic charm of Riga without the city's hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very attentive, and the truly delicious and varied breakfast was the perfect start to each day. If you are looking for great service, peace, and a convenient location at a reasonable price, this hotel is definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is located a 13 minute walk to the bus and train station and the central market is even nearer. It’s also not too far to the old town. Room was good for the rate paid. Breakfast was chaotic with too many people crowded around a small self-service space. At least there were seats upstairs. Was leaving early the next morning so they packed it.

Great location to get to the central markets. When we went it was fully booked, this led to breakfast being super limited with lots of items needing faster replacement. The room had the faint smell of a urinal.

Check-in says 2pm. I arrived ath the hotel past 3pm and couldnt check-in. I was able to checkin at 4pm. The receptionist said that the room was not yet ready. Location is about a kilometer from the Bus Station. No nearby resto, only one small convenience store just across the street. Room, T&B and bed is perfectly fine and clean. Breakfast was meh. The area is small, so it gets crowded during breakfast time. Not enough table to sit. Not too much of a selection. But I like the Coffee Latte from their coffee machine. There’s also a water dispenser at the reception area.
