Very good hotel specially breakfast!

Wonderful Hotel only negative no window in room 

The hotel's central location in the northeast end of Riga's old town made it very easy to explore the city. We were close to the city's main attractions and were within a 5 minute walk to the Cat House, Freedom Monument, Riga/Dome Cathedral, and St. Peter's Cathedral. We booked the room without a window. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. The room was quiet but a bit stuffy and we felt the AC wasn't strong enough. We felt there was still good value with this room though because of the price and there was a lot packed into it. There was a Nespresso coffee machine, tea station, cute tea cups and a large bathroom with a very nice shower. We appreciated that a wall adapter was provided and plugged in that worked with North American style plugs. The hotel is in a building from the 17th century and has a very nice looking mirrored atrium. There is a fun story where a horse threw a shoe, hit this building and stuck so the owner kept it because he felt it was good luck. The hotel has a bar in the lobby as well as a small shop. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast which had a great view of the city from the window and a very good breakfast. The breakfast had a small buffet with cheese, smoked fish, fresh bread and some other nice choices. We enjoyed the variety of drinks like the rhubarb lemonade and hot chocolate. You can order one hot item which included.

Great customs service. The equipments are very clean and more than enough for regular people.

The room was clean and worked well, even it wasn't very big. The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff was fantastic. 24/7 service is really good.

Traveled with family and had two rooms for two nights. The property has a nice location. It was clean and comfortable but maintenance could be better as there was moldy caulking in my shower. There is a loud bar across the square, but this is a city center location and the hotel provides ear plugs. The main issue was that the ******* booking does not include breakfast so we added and paid for breakfast upon arrival for both rooms and both nights. I was the person paying and I did not ask the breakfast rate but I believed I had paid for the two days. The check in clerk stated back to us that this was the rate for the breakfast with room and tax for two rooms and two days. The check in clerk was very polite and helpful. Upon checkout we were told the second breakfast had not been paid for. I was then asked to pay in cash. I said no to cash but I would pay with card and that was accepted. The checkout clerk was very rude and I did not understand his attitude. I believe the check in clerk gave us a “rate with room,” while the checkout clerk charged us as if we were walk ins. If you look on line the breakfast rate with room varies but it does not exceed the walk in rate. Either way I didn’t care about the extra amount. But, I did not understand the demand for cash or his rudeness. It turned an acceptable stay into unacceptable. I don’t recommend this hotel.

I can highly recommend this hotel, not only for its excellent location and the quality of its rooms, but also for the outstanding service provided by the staff. During my stay, I encountered an issue with my room, and the manager handled the situation exceptionally well. The problem was resolved quickly, professionally, and with great attention to customer satisfaction. I truly appreciated the level of care and professionalism shown, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I was very satisfied with my experience and would gladly stay here again.

Very cute hotel in an awesome location in old town. ! also Loved the decoration. The staff was amazing, breakfast was great! Our room was pretty but we had no windows! However, I would return if I had to go back to Riga.
