Urban Hotel the Golden Stork ★★★

📍 7 Volmerlaan, Rijswijk

"It's a very simple hotel with very basic facilities. That's all you don't want to stay here for more than 1 or 2 days. They offer parking but it's a paid parking. I didn't know that."

Hotel & Spa Savarin - Rijswijk, the Hague

Hotel & Spa Savarin - Rijswijk, the Hague ★★★★★

📍 Laan van Hoornwijck 29, Rijswijk

"In connection with an administrative assignment, I stayed at the Savarin for an average of two nights per week from September 2025 through May 2026. From the very first steps I took into the cozy, warm, and home-like hotel right up to the last evening, I felt extremely welcome. All the staff—at reception, at breakfast, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff in the bistro and the fine-dining restaurant, and the administrative staff—were very pleasant to deal with, courteous, friendly, and always smiling. The facilities—the indoor pool as part of the Spavarin, the fitness room, the breakfast room, the bistro, and the fine-dining restaurant—are very neat, well-maintained, and characterized by a warm, home-like atmosphere. Similarly, the rooms, several of which I have had the opportunity to see, are beautifully furnished with good beds; truly a 5-star standard. I made frequent use of the well-maintained swimming pool both in the evenings and in the mornings. I have spent many evenings in the Bistro, partly working on my laptop and partly reading. I have also dined several times in the fine-dining restaurant; the dishes are very well prepared on both occasions (and I am a true bon vivant). The restaurant staff is managed in a very pleasant manner by Eline, the maître-sommelier, with whom I have had wonderful conversations about various wines; the Savarin's wine list is, incidentally, more than worth a look. In any case, a stay at the Savarin is more than worthwhile. I can only recommend the Savarin, not only for business but also for private occasions."

"Here's a corrected version of your review: "Very noisy hotel with poor service, bad connections to nearby areas, and unclean rooms. The bathroom smelled terrible, almost like sewage." Let me know if you'd like further adjustments!"
