Rimske Terme Resort

Ok, so my wife and I decided to go on a relaxing weekend getaway. We wanted to take a break from everyday stress and to enjoy some "we" time in the pools, saunas, spa. We wanted to get some couple massages and so... We chose Rimske Terme because of their reputation, and of course Instagram pics from many influencers. But at the end, it was nothing like we've imagined. Let's start from the beginning, there is no public parking space so you have to park in the hotel garage and of course you pay for it (Not cheap!), than we got a room which was ok, but not worth €250 per night (inside wall view). Then we went to the pool area, now you would expect that to be the main and the best thing this hotel has to offer but you are so wrong. Instead of smelling relaxing scents, you smell burgers and French fries and local bear, because there is a fast-food bar in the pool area, thats right, in that amazing pool area. Terrible! What was even more worse is that there was no place to lay down by the pool because it was so crowded (many are not guests but local residents). The pools were filled with children splashing and screaming, nothing like Instagram would suggest. We wanted to get some massage or couples treatments but everything was fully booked two days in advance. Luckily one girl from the ground floor managed to get us a 20-min thermal experience for us. The all other service (except for that one girl and reception) were very rude, especially one guy working afternoon on the pool bar and then in the lobby bar. To expensive for a bad manners service. He didn't know the menu. He threw the plate with food on our table and so one. The hotel buffet restaurant, terrible as well, small offer, no one came to serve us with drinks, and they did see us. All together, it was a bad experience and we will certainly not visit Rimske Terme again and we would not suggest it to anyone.

the whole service was excellent for us. we were impressed by the wellness service with massages and body service. we were impressed by the saunas with programs and musical evenings with sitting in the cafe. thanks and praise Eleni for the wonderful medotherapy, Tilna for the powerful and effective massage, Mojci for the best face care, Melita for all the love with nail care. Nini for the excellently executed Detox program. kudos to the restaurant and cafe staff. fast, responsive and friendly. Receptionists are always looking for solutions, which is very important to me. thanks to Markot for all the ideas and possibilities. excellent receptionist and beautiful human.

It was horible. We were in sauna and pool. People dont respect rules in sauna and the staff doesnt care for that. You can see people with phones in jacuzzi. People come to sauna with bags, towels and swimmsuits from pool and reserve all chairs for resting with bags. In the quiet room for resting you can see people eating, talking and farting like they are at home or pool. In sauna you see alot people with swimsuits. The pool is cold. We were very disapointed.

We arrived at the hotel around 3 p.m., where we were greeted by very friendly staff who, in addition to Slovenian, speaks English, Serbian and Croatian fluently. We made the reservation through *********** and check-in went without a problem, during which they explained all the services that the spa has to offer. The room is quite spacious and clean with wifi access and cable TV, and for a small extra charge you can also get a view of the surrounding very beautiful landscape. The "basic package" we paid included breakfast and access to the indoor and outdoor pools with thermal water. Built in such a way as to pay homage to the Roman style, they follow the theme of the entire SPA center. The thermal water is warm enough that the outdoor pool can be used even in February, which is especially nice. The surcharge for using the sauna is 15e per day, which includes the daily sauna programs, and I would especially like to praise the existence of outdoor saunas. In addition to swimming pools and saunas, the spa center also has a small gym that offers enough equipment for light training. Breakfast is a classic "Swedish table". The selection is not overly large, but it is quite enough. Breakfast is perhaps the worst part of the vacation itself, but it was far from bad. All in all, Rimske Terme is a fantastic spa that I would recommend to anyone and I sincerely look forward to coming back.

The spa is very nice but quite crowded at all times of the day (Saturday and Sunday). Hotel is ok, but they could have provided more towels in the room. But ok. Biggest disappointment? The hotel restaurant (the buffet, not the a la carte one). The food was absolutely disgusting, tasteless, undercooked or overcooked, cold, just complete disaster, not to mention they had very little vegan or healthy options. Just absolute disaster, avoid at all costs

All inclusive package with very poor food choices, first day no heating in the bathroom. Dinner choices were equal to shipyard restaurants, no free water and prices of beverage over the roof. Pool is worn out and in many locations moldy,whirlpools mosaic tiles falling off and water is not hot. Charging towels at the pool ??? You can learn a lot from Tuheljske toplice on what 4* hotel is

What a serene and healing experience throughout! I decided to extend my stay as well as treatments. Beautiful surroundings and the thermal pool from natural source and sauna are excellent. The treatments and staff at the medical centre were really good and the system is well organised. Kind and helpful staff. Always felt well taken care of. Good food. First time I combined a medical visit and physical therapy with a holiday and accommodation altogether and it worked wonderfully. Definitely will return.

We spent two nights at Rimske Terme and it certainly exceeded our expectations. Spacious and warm room, with nice views of the valley. The bed, ultra-comfortable! The overall cleanliness of the hotel is 10. Everything is impeccable, from the common areas to the room. We would like to thank all the staff, who work with care and dedication, from the waiters in the restaurant and bar, cleaning service, therapists and Reception. Thanks to Tjasa and Marko for an efficient check-in and check-out process. Special mention to David, the night shift receptionist, who gave us complete information about the area and the complex. He went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. A credit to the Hotel! We decided on the Half Board and the truth is that it has been the right choice. Abundant and complete breakfast. Dinner, with different options, all of them well prepared and tasty. The thermal area is dreamy, with large pools both indoors and outdoors and the outdoor saunas are great! If you need a little extra relaxation, I recommend the Touch of Slovenia massage and the Chocolate massage, for us it was a great choice. We will definitely come back!

We stay for only 4 days. But we Will come back. Stuf IS great ...frendly And supportive. Dinner buffet was great....food fresh And werry tasty. We went to sauna it IS superb. Salt room too. Room was big...maybi not clean enaught bot it dident bother Us. Pool IS not werry big but newer too crowdy. We lowed it.
