Reviews of Arena Copacabana Hotel

Nice hotel, but rather too expensive for the price. Security is good, bed is comfortable, not noisy at all. Breakfasts are nice too, they even had some vegan dessert option (thank you so much for that! ❤️). The guy who checked us in was no nice, staff is always trying to help. Only small remark, the bottles of water, even though they might seem like welcoming in the fridge, aren't FREE. We had to pay although we weren't told that it's not part of the welcoming package, so was a bit disappointed.

The hotel has a great location, but the food is not a wao thing and it’s very expensive. You can eat and drink outside nearby for much less. Avoid eating the meat at the restaurant as it’s not good, we had picana and filet mignon one night and both were very hard and chewy. The breakfast buffet it’s not worth it either if you like to eat different things every days. Because they serve the same meal every day. Again you can eat amazing breakfast at cafes nearby for same price or less. I suggest you tried Flor Cafe it’s very chic and instagramable or the fresh juices from the cafeteria in the corner. They are located on the same block of the hotel. There is no entertainment at the hotel, no music, no shows nothing.

The location was excellent, center of Rio Copacabana. The bathroom fixtures were a little dated. Breakfast was good for starting day. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the beach and surrounding areas.

very good location with decent rooms . As usual heating does not work in Rio but we were not so much needed but they could put sleepers and improve the pillow quality . Breakfast was good .

First of all, the location was fantastic!! From the Copacabana Hotel, I could enjoy Copacabana Beach until dusk, and the hotel was also ideally located for waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise and taking a stroll along the beach. There's a large supermarket close by (within a 10-minute walk) and plenty of good restaurants nearby, making it the perfect place to enjoy Copacabana Beach. The staff were also friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. It was even better to be able to eat breakfast at the first-floor breakfast restaurant while looking out at the beach.

Unfortunately, the hotel didn't give us the room we booked. When you book a superior room, it's 26 square meters, not 20 square meters. So be careful and check your room before accepting.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I celebrated my 50th birthday in Rio and couldn't have chosen a better place! Thank you for the attention and comfort! The breakfast was marvelous!

Perfect location. The staff were all kind and nice Rooms with a sea view were beautiful and very clean. Recommended Giacomo and Sandra

RAS … that says it all Even if the pool is really small Well so cold that it doesn’t motivate, but the view is nice when you wake up

Everything was beautiful, all the staff were very friendly, especially Pedro and Bruno, the food was delicious, the hotel's location in front of the beach was excellent, cleanliness was very good, the only bad thing was that the terrace part was not working (neither the pool, nor the gym) however they gave us access to the Pool and Gym of the other Hotel Arena Lema but both miniature. Otherwise all Relindo. I recommend them!! I would particularly return but when the hotel is 100% available.
