Bem localizado, bem organizado, ótimo atendimento, os quartos são muito apertados, o meu não tinha ventilador e outros tinham, isso fez falta durante o dia por conta da dificuldade de ligar o ar condicionado.
Limpeza deixou a desejar um pouco, instalações da cama estavam empoeiradas e em baixo também. Da impressão que fazia um tempinho que não tinha uma faxina.

I really loved my time in El Misti, this hostel is an amazing place for solo travelers as well as group of friends, as it is pretty social and you get to meet a lot of people while just sitting at the bar in the evening. They have parties every day and you never feel lonely there. There is also a big terrace at the rooftop and as I had classes during my stay there it was a perfect spot to study in the silence. Internet is great, stuff if extremely welcoming and friendly and the food is also delicious. Will definitely come back and can 100% recommend to visit!

Amazing place with nice location ( literally 1 minute to the beach and 1 minute to the subway station). Very social place, got to meet a lot of people here and did some activities together. Really liked that there are 2 options for common area: social and party bar downstairs and quiet rooftop, which is good for work and just chilling. Rooms were clean with AC and each bed has a curtain, so privacy is not a problem. Staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. I had amazing time here and would definitely recommend this hostel. Can't wait to be back:)

Pros: Amazing staff at this property! Very friendly and always up for some fun! Also they all speak some level of English which was nice. It’s more of a party hostel than a chill and work hostel. Also they have a bar and restaurant attached to the property which is convenient. The area is awesome. Ipanema seems to attract young and friendly folks from all over. Cons: the shower had zero water pressure, the restaurant isn’t always open and some of the other guests don’t respect specific quiet time which they have posted outside the rooms. All in all I would DEFINITELY come back for a party or two.

I stayed 9 days at El Misti and had one of the most amazing times of my life. The atmosphere is super social and it is very easy to meet people and find activities to do both during the day and at night. You can't beat the location just a block from the beach. Everyone who works there is fantastic and I became friends with many of them. Shoutout to Guilherme, Rodrigo, Jose, and of course the wonderful Marcela (and everyone else!) I have never been so sad to leave a place and will cherish my first time in Brazil forever. Cannot recommend El Misti enough!

I originally booked a hostel in the center but didn’t feel safe so I moved to El Misti immediately. This hostel was in a much better location by the beach, shops, and restaurants. El Misti also had very clean facilities and had an amazingly nice and fun staff!❤️ Would stay here again when I return to Rio.
