Hotel Villa Argentina

It's not a hotel, it's a guesthouse. Parking is extremely difficult; the street in front of the hotel is off-limits, making it very hard to find parking. The front desk isn't open 24 hours. Even worse, the front desk is only open from 3 PM to 6 PM—just three hours. After 6 PM, you have to find your own key, and if you don't understand Italian, you're doomed. And they require guests to check out by 10 AM!

The hotel is located in Cinque Terre, and its location is excellent. Hotel guests can use the village elevator for free, use the village restrooms for free, and get a 50% discount on church admission. It offers great value for money, and the service is also very good.

If you're arriving by train, the walk to the hotel with suitcases isn't ideal. Don't forget to reserve parking if you're driving. The location is perfect for hiking and visiting the Cinque Terre.

Perfect service and the best view. Due to the travel issue, I was late for check-in. The front desk patiently guided me on how to get the key to the room by myself, and told me to call anytime if I didn't understand anything. They also promised me that I could make up the formalities the next morning. The price is low, and the best view of Riomaggiore is right outside the door. It is the most cost-effective hotel in the entire Italian trip.
