The hostel is amazing, it’s not that easy to get in but when you arrive it deserves. Staff really nice, the view from the coffee in the terrace is stunning and rooms are really nice. This part of the river it’s really calm and it’s ease to arrive to more touristic areas. I will come back for sure

Please don’t make the mistake we did — avoid Skyard Hotel, Rishikesh We had planned a cousins' trip to Rishikesh, something we were all really excited about. To avoid last-minute trouble, I even paid ₹900 in advance for our hotel (Skyard Hotel, near Laxman Jhula), hoping everything would go smoothly. But honestly, it turned into a complete disaster. As soon as we reached Nepali Farm, we realized how expensive it was to reach the hotel — ₹100 per person by auto, and there were five of us. What shocked us even more was that Laxman Jhula was completely closed, and the hotel guy we had spoken to for 20 minutes never once mentioned this. Because of that, we had to spend ₹500 more to cross the river by boat. We thought, "At least once we reach the hotel, we can rest." But no — the hotel was located way up on a steep hill, and we had to climb 1–1.5 km uphill, panting and completely out of breath by the time we got there. It was exhausting, and we knew instantly we could never climb that path again. And then came the biggest disappointment: the hotel itself. The room was tiny, dark, and dirty. Beds were torn and smelly. The bathroom was in a terrible state — leaking water, bad smell, completely unhygienic. The staff was rude and didn’t help at all, even after we explained our situation. And of course, no refund. We lost our ₹900 just like that. What made it worse? The photos we saw online were fake. There was no view, nothing even remotely close to what they showed. We were heartbroken and angry. We had to book another hotel urgently for ₹3000 just to have a place to stay. In total, this mistake cost us nearly ₹5000 — not to mention four precious hours of our short two-day trip, and the energy we spent stressing, climbing, and arguing. We had to cancel many of the things we planned, and honestly, this one hotel choice ruined what could have been a beautiful trip. Please, if you're reading this — don't book Skyard Hotel. I wish someone had warned us before. Hopefully, this review helps you avoid going through the same mess we did.

Pathetic staff and very rude and not cooperative at all . I suggest there are lot of other hostels near by . Reception also not good and not cooperative . Never ever in life will visit this hostel .. guys see near by . Toilet also very dirty told them for soap they did not keep staff is pathetic

Such an amazing experience! It really feels like home. Loved drinking chai and eat with such view. And front desk is amazing ! Specially Ashu. Will definitely go back. Location is the best. Really clean.
