Ambassador Suite Hotel

Enjoyed our 3 night stay - large modern rooms, friendly reception staff, and great location. Highlights were the included breakfast and free bike hire, which we made use of. Location is around a 20 minute walk from the ‘centre’ of Riva, but lake front, supermarket and restaurants, all within a 5 minute walk.

It’s very sad to say we have to go home tomorrow;( ! ASH was Fab! It should have at least 4 *! We are Fam of 3 ( baby girl 11 yrs old so far ) room was not so big but we didn’t stay in during the day, however it’s new refurbished, very clean and comfortable beds! Bathroom as well brand new and clean! Breakfast was good, coffee from the coffee machine just great ! Outside big garden with the trampoline! big and clean swimming pool, great for children! Very friendly staff working here. Speaking English, German, so it was easy to understand each other:) for those who like to keep in shape during a hols brake they also have gym at the 5th floor :) hope we will be back one day !

Four of us spent a week in the hotel for some May sunshine. However we only had two good days out of seven and it was freezing for the most part. Cardigans and jackets required most of the time. Great hotel in lovely location away from the traffic noise of the nearby busy road. Five minute walk to great restaurants and the lake and a good 15 minute walk along the lake front to town centre. We had two rooms that didn't have balconies but the windows were huge and opened wide so the views were still spectacular. Thankfully as it was so cold we did not miss sitting out on a balcony. I was in room 228 compact with not a lot of storage but we managed. The bathroom was big enough with a fab walk in shower and plenty space for toiletries. Nipping clean with the most absorbent towels. The other two were in room 224. Again compact but had an extra bed/settee which came in handy. The sink area though, was outside the bathroom so there was nowhere to store extra toiletries that are needed once out the shower but still needing to be in the shower room. Very bizarre set up. Free fridges which came in handy as a very nice 1 1/2 litre bottle of Soave from the nearby co-op supermarket was only 4 Euro. Safe was a returnable 15 euro deposit and 10 euro to pay for the week. Very reasonable. However the key must be returned to get your 15E back. Reception opens at 8am on the dot so if you have an early checkout don't forget to return your key the night before. Breakfast was plentiful , lots of yogurts and tinned fruit, small amount of fresh fruit, cereals , pastries, bread, cheese, ham, cakes, fresh honeycomb, scrambled eggs and a make your own pancake station. Plenty tea , coffee and juice. Never got to use the pool which was a pity. All in all a great place to stay ,away from hustle and bustle but close enough to pleasantly walk to it. Riva is a beautiful place with lots to see and do and some fabulous walks.

Great hotel, convinient location, walking distance to the city center, friendly staff and more. Provide a buffet breakfast every morning, bar open daily, outside pool, and bicycles.We were very satisfied. 😀❤

Spent 6 nights here with my 2 teenagers as part of our holiday for 2023 to riva del garda. Hotel was spotless, staff very friendly and beds very comfortable. We had a beautiful big room with a generous balcony and spectacular views by day and night. Brilliant location. 15 minute walk to riva Town or 5 minute walk to nearest main street full of restaurants. If I had to make any criticism I would say that the hotel was quite dead, no dinner served on the evenings and no entertainment compared to the savoy next door where the music could be heard from afar. Seemed to be a million times more life attached to it. The pool is also very small in the ambassador but if not many in the pool quite adequate Without question I would stay here again quite happily if there was a little more life about it Maybe something the hotel should look into. Breakfast by the way is amazing, so much food to eat, such variety. You won't be disappointed, very well run hotel.

Pool was crowded and lots of loud kids. Almost impossible to find a available sunbed. Plus for free rental bikes. Should not be allowed to have toys and mattresses in the pool.

The hotel was way better than our expectation, polite staff - manager, admin , kitchen staff as well as house keeping , very helpful.Location is excellent, 100 meters to the beautiful beach , easily accessible via foot or bicycle that hotel provided for free!! Reasonable and nice restaurants around and ferry links close by . Peaceful and not crowded ( we went first week April ) Overall excellent stay and would love to go back there again - big thanks to hotel Ambassador 🙏🙏
