Reviews of Nightcap at Riverside Hotel

Second stay at Nightcap Riverside. Price point was my main motivation, I paid $130 for the night. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equiped, well heated .Renovated. Bed was very comfortable, black out blinds good. Hotel internet signal strong and good speeds. Location is about 5 kms north of the CBD, need a car.  a 20 minute drive from the airport. Meals at the Riverside Tavern next door typical pub meals, large servings and reasonable quality. A small convenience store just across the road, a Woolworths supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. Some noise from the highway nearby, but quiet during the night. Fair bit of noise early ( circa 6 am on ) as early morning workers driving past, and quite a few “ tradies “ stay at Nightcap Riverside and start early. Didn’t bother me as I rise early also, but don’t expect a sleep in.  Overall, very good value for the price point.

The Wfi in the room is very poor, it has only 1 bar, as soon as it connected, it will dropped out straight away. I have eneded up using my own wifi-data.

Great place, good facilities and clean rooms. Shout out to the ****** who wake up at 5 am stand around talking and wake everyone up and then start their noisy cars and leave to go to another hotel.

All is good. Check in staff even assist in getting a ground unit. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Room are clean.

It is a motel. But a good one.

It's quite nice, but the strange thing is they ask my cvv number. Usually whenever I stay, it's never happened. And the other thing is it's not in Launceston, like 5min from Launceston

This hotel is very cost-effective and free parking. But it is a little old. It is close to the main road, which may affect travelers with poor sleep. The hotel door cannot be locked, and I finally solved the problem by leaving my large suitcase at the door.

The room is quite spacious, the bathroom is very clean, the room is equipped with a toaster, the hotel has a free parking space, and you get a free drink coupon when you check in, which can be exchanged for designated drinks in the family restaurant in this hotel. It is quiet at night.

The room was too cold. The wifi didn't work well.

The price is relatively cheap, as is basically the case with motels.
