Parking was shown as free when we booked, however desk clerk wanted to charge us $10. Air conditioning system was inadequate and could only be set at 22 deg. C at the coldest… it never got cooler than 25 degrees in the room. Great location!!!

Ordered 15 days superior room because at the pictures it looks great with the private jacuzzi. When I came there the jacuzzi was not even working and dirty. Service was ok when the one man that could speak English. More like a 3 star hostel not a even close to a 3 star hotel

We had a horrible experience!! When you pay close to $600 for 2 days, you expect to have things like a working fridge in your room, we had to get ice, from the bar, 2 floors down, 2-3 times per day to keep the food we had bought cold! We had a shower that constantly flooded the entire bathroom and hallway floor and most importantly, a patio door that didn’t open and close properly!!! The reason we rented this one and paid all this extra money was because we had a hot tub on our balcony, so what’s the point of that if we can’t go out because the door won’t open, and when we do manage to get it open, it won’t close, hence letting all the mosquitoes in and being bitten all night long!!! The place was also infested with fruit flies.
When we asked to speak to a manager to try and get some type of compensation for all of this, we were told in a VERY rude way that the managers weren’t there, she wouldn’t put us in contact with them and basically told us to leave! Worse hotel EVER and we have travelled all over the world!
I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel!!!
The only positive thing I have the say is that it had an amazing view!

This is a modest, fairly worn, hotel that is located on the main street in front of the water in Roccalumera. Service personnel at desk and breakfast were friendly and room was spartan but clean and comfortable. There is a garage under the hotel for parking, which was an additional 8 Euro per day. Guest amenities in bathroom were minimal, but sufficient. We had a nice sized balcony with great view of the sea. Breakfast selection was OK, but limited. As long as you are not expecting luxury hotel experience, this hotel is perfectly acceptable place to stay, within reasonable driving distance of Messina to the north, and Naxos and Taormina to the south. It is also close to Savoca.

I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the main palace hotel in Sicily. Very clean, fantastic food. Family run hotel which was just so lovely. Made lots of friends. The staff could not do enough for you. Somewhere I would go back to. We went with Saga. Ann looked after us so well. Thank you to Ann from saga and everyone at the main palace hotel

We visited this the Main Palace Hotel in September 2022 and can honestly say this was very disappointing. The beds in the room had tears in the divan base, there was lots of black mould in the shower and the furniture on the balcony was very worn. The hotel was generally in a very poor state and could do with updating. We definitely would not go back. It is the poorest hotel we have ever stayed in.

Perfect location to explore Sicily . Train station a 5 minute walk. Food delicious. Staff very helpful and always polite. The beach just outside is beautiful. Shops are very close too. Village next door has two beautiful churches.

This family run hotel looks lovely from the outside and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The external grounds are very run down and dilapidated rattan furniture is dangerous to use. Rooms are very comfortable with lovely walk in showers but our last day there was a dreadful smell from the wash basin. Buffet breakfast is very good but we found the evening meal which required to be pre ordered could only be classed as acceptable. The hotel lacked any form of first-aid kit!

We visited this hotel on a Saga package deal. We were very disappointed with both the hotel and the area. Whilst the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, with a large walk-in shower, the air conditioning (not controlled within the room), was hit and miss, with a tendency to either go off in the middle of the night, or dip to arctic temperatures. It would have been nice to sleep with the balcony doors open, but the noise from the road and the karaoke parties across the road (going on until 2.30 in the morning), prevented this. The outside seating area was extremely shabby, with broken and dangerous rattan furniture. The food in the evening was generally good, but had to be ordered 24 hours in advance. The pool was decent, but was taken over by weekenders for 3 days, so we couldn’t get near. The staff would help, if asked, and the evening bar person was very friendly. One member of staff got our goat, as she would clamp a mask over her face whenever one of our party (all British) spoke to her on Reception. Please note, she did not do this when speaking to other guests. The area itself had nothing to recommend it. No little restaurants, shops (apart from a Supermarket and 2 shoe shops) and nothing of interest to look at and explore. Many building and houses had been left to ruin and there were ‘for sale’ signs everywhere. Wouldn’t go back, and the experience has also made us very wary of booking with Saga again.
