Rochester Marriott Mayo Clinic Area

It is very convenient to go to Mayo, and it is also the reason why the price is expensive. The underground and the 2nd floor corridor can pass, avoiding the cold in winter. The front desk is welcoming, the hotel cleaning is very sloppy, the tea is not replenished, the garbage is not taken away, and the tip is taken diligently.

Excellent place to stay across the street from St. Marys Hospital. Each suite has a mini kitchen. They offer a very nice free breakfast-both warm and cold selections. And they have a dinner offering week nights. The lobby is warm and inviting and a very comfortable place for lounging or dining. Everything was clean and the staff very accommodating. There's a daily refreshing of the room. All of this at a very reasonable price. Free underground parking if needed. Yes- stay here!!

The hotel is very convenient to go to the hospital, about 10 minutes walk, you can pass indoors throughout.

The facility is new, clean and well cared for. The staff was very professional, as well as friendly with excellent customer service as their first priority The price was fair. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning with a large variety of items to eat. The swimming pool was a bonus. I would highly recommend this motel, as my experience was 5 star! I plan to return whenever I am in town. Very safe for the solo traveler. Beautiful scenery and location in Rochester Minnesota

This hotel no longer shuttles to the Mayo Clinic, which was one of my primary reasons for staying there in the past. My room was horrifically dirty. There was a used juice pack in one of the drawers, there were nuts on my bed, there was food on the floor, there was a used coffee filter in the coffee maker and no new coffee filter available for me. Some of the towels looked used. I honestly don't think there was an attempt to clean this room other then putting new garbage bags in. I'm not totally convinced that I had new sheets. The bed was made, but I ended up sleeping in my clothes because it felt disgusting. The heater wouldn't blow warm air. I ended up just shutting it off. I got cold in the middle of the night and turned it back on, it worked then. The housing fell off the heater as well. My tv wouldn't show captioning unless it was muted. The remote wouldn't work to adjust that. I need captioning with my hearing loss, and not at the expense of sound. They no longer serve breakfast. I went down to the lobby at about 6:50 and saw about 5 breakfast bags sitting on a table by happenstance. I went back down at about 7:10 and the kitchen was still closed and no breakfast bags. There was an apple sauce, some crackers, and a water in the bags. This hotel has really gone down in the dump since last year. This would have been my 5th or 6th stay since 2019. The elevator and hallway was unclean. (dirt or mud) You can smell cigarette smoke in the building. There were cigarette butts in the stairwell. It is my understanding that this hotel has switched to more long term tenants at the cost of satisfactory cleanliness, services, and breakfast. I will not be returning here for my follow up Mayo visits. This cost me an extra $8.00 for one day of parking at mayo along with the headache of trying to find a parking spot since this hotel cancelled shuttle services.
