The Capital Hotel

We arrived at noon, but check-in wasn't allowed until 2 PM. The staff informed us we had to wait until after 2 PM. We went out, came back, and sat in the lobby. Both staff members were watching a movie with the volume up. It wasn't super loud, but sitting in the lobby, it felt like we were involuntary participants in their movie-watching. When we finally checked in, they assigned us room 305. The air conditioning was noisy from the moment we inserted the key card, as loud as the clip below. We went down to request a room change. A staff member came up to check and then moved us to another room. However, after moving to the new room, the staff called our room phone and told us we had to move again because they had assigned us a room priced higher than what we paid for. There was no apology or acknowledgment of their mistake in managing the system. Instead, they said, "If you want to stay, you'll have to pay extra," which is not an appropriate way to address a customer. Shortly after, the lights in our room went out. At first, I thought there was a power outage, but it turned out the lights were fine in the next room we moved to.

This is a hotel that allows late check-in. The system says that check-in is from 1:00 PM, but when it comes down to it, we still can't check-in at 3:00 PM. Most importantly, they never care about what we ask for or provide what we request. The parking lot is also full and narrow. They have to add a reading table for the breakfast room, even though it's already crowded with less than 30 people. There are no fried eggs as per the standard breakfast price. However, we have to praise the delicious rice porridge. The highlight is that it's in the middle of the city with many restaurants. It's convenient to find food easily. It's near the hospital, 7-Eleven, and Watsons. In the morning, there are grilled pork, grilled rice, fried bananas, and swan egg desserts to buy next to the hotel. All in all, it's acceptable. The room is spacious enough. There's a TV, refrigerator, cold air conditioning, an elevator, and a water heater. If you want to stay temporarily, this place is suitable. But if you want to relax and enjoy a memorable experience, you'll have to find a new place because it doesn't meet these criteria.

There are no disposable slippers, no hair dryer, and only two bottles of mineral water are provided per day. You have to pay for more.
