Guest UserI've been in China for six months and this is the best accommodation I've stayed in. the location is perfect - it allows you to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere. The building is very beautiful from an architectural point of view, but it is also well furnished, very comfortable and clean. They also gave me a room upgrade. the staff were very warm and friendly, they offered me tea while giving me travel tips and also explained many interesting things about the place. One of those places where you regret not staying longer. A thousand thanks

This is one of the more established hotels in Hengdian, and overall it's pretty good. They even have little robots that deliver room service! The only issue I had during my two-day stay was with the room door lock; it wasn't working very well. One day, it wouldn't even close properly. Luckily, a staff member in the hallway saw it and arranged for someone to fix it, but it still wasn't perfect. The hotel breakfast, though, was very rich and delicious, and I even saw celebrities coming and going from their makeup sessions. Everything else was really satisfactory!

The hotel is very large, with many things to do, such as playing golf, riding a sightseeing car, making Song-style tea, and picking vegetables. It is especially suitable for short walks with children! What is particularly surprising is that there is also a large book bar where you can do homework and read quietly. In addition, I have to praise the hotel's own restaurant. The Dongyang clay pot chicken is well cooked, and the vegetables are all fresh organic vegetables. The fried potatoes with onions are amazing. The two children who don't like vegetables snatched them up in minutes like a gust of wind.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery.
The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace.
Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly.
From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away.
The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is an absolute no-brainer – just book it!
✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful.
✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄
✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go...
✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children.
Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂

It was great. The kids had a blast. The farm-style dishes they recommended were also good. The service was especially good.

The location is great, and the room is large, over 40 square meters. However, the facilities are quite old. There were bugs crawling around the bathroom sink and the induction cooktop by the entrance. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and the washing machine didn't work.
The most terrifying thing was the first night of our stay. In the middle of the night, someone (a woman, maybe a hotel staff member?) suddenly knocked on our door. I was half asleep and didn't realize it was someone knocking on our door. A moment later, they swiped their card and let me in. I was terrified. I asked who it was, and she immediately apologized for the mistake and left. I was so scared that I couldn't sleep all night. I couldn't sleep well the next day either, constantly worried someone might break in.
This hotel isn't a single-story building; it's part of a high-rise complex housing several other hotels. Downstairs is quite convenient, with plenty of food and drink options. It's in a central location in Hengdian.

Guest UserTruly a B&B with a story! I'd originally visited this place to see the ”largest settlement of Zhuge Liang's descendants” and the ”Bagua Ancient Residences of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,” but instead, I discovered the history of Bagua Village. He Keren, the owner of Danmingxuan, had a significant influence on Bagua Village's global fame. It's fair to say that without his grandfather, Zhuge Shaoxian, who brought the Gaolong Zhuge family genealogy, housed in the Zhuge Village Grand Hall, to the Sixth Zhuge Liang Symposium in Chengdu in 1992, the subsequent ”largest settlement of Zhuge Liang's descendants in China” wouldn't have come to be. He Keren, the owner of Danmingxuan, is also a dedicated person. He meticulously studied and researched the extensive documentation left by his grandfather, deeply moved by his dedication and determined to organize and display this material on his legacy. To this end, Mr. He has invested heavily, renting space near Bagua Village's Zhongchi and Shangtang Street Commercial Street. He uses this space to display archival materials about his grandfather's connection to Bagua Village, as well as his own photographs and pen drawings of the village. All guests of his B&B can visit for free, receive complimentary photos of the best views of the Zhongchi and Bagua, and if you're lucky, even receive a gift of Bagua Village cultural and creative products from Mr. He.
If you're visiting Bagua Village for more than just a photo op or a check-in, but also want to explore the village's mysterious history like I did, then visit Mr. He at Danmingxuan! You're sure to find the same rewarding experience as I did.

The homestay is built in the scenic area. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains. The vegetation is very dense and the flow of people is not big. If you like quiet, you can come and stay for a few days. The homestay also comes with a very cute free library. The residents are very simple and it is a good place to be in a daze. Although the room is not big, it is very clean and tidy. This time, our family came to set five rooms together, and they can all be set in an area. A few families can live together, and there is a free mahjong table!
