"Honestly, it was much better than I expected, incredible value for money. I really didn't anticipate this kind of environment or quality. The attitude and service quality were also very satisfying. It's much better value than where I stayed for the previous five days. The hygiene is excellent; I didn't check the opening date, but the furnishings and items feel very new. Plus, they've thought of everything you might need. The heating is also fantastic; it was warm as soon as I entered the room, even before I put the key card in. The bed is super comfortable too. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The surrounding facilities are also very comprehensive and it's not noisy. All in all, as a solo traveler, I had a very comfortable stay. The subway is also very close, just a few hundred meters, so it's not tiring even with luggage. 👍"

"Location: Superb! It's close to Myeongdong, though it's still about a 10-15 minute walk. I loved that there are GS25 and CU convenience stores everywhere nearby, making it incredibly easy to grab local milk. Room Size: I specifically chose a hotel with relatively larger rooms because there were three of us, and luckily they had a triple room with three beds – perfect! Soundproofing: The soundproofing was decent; it was pretty quiet at night. WiFi: It was relatively fast. Value for Money: It was a bit pricey, so not the best value. Bed: The mattress and pillows were quite comfortable, and the bed was large enough. Room Amenities: You need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as shower slippers. Remember to bring a universal adapter, though there are USB ports available for charging. Surroundings: There are many coffee shops around, and the subway is very convenient from here. The alley behind the hotel also has lots of restaurants, but they tend to be closed for a break in the afternoon."

"Extremely Disappointing Stay – Will Not Return This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time, two of us stayed in a double room in the main building and had a wonderful experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. We booked a 6‑person room for three nights, and the experience was extremely poor. • Location & Security: The room was in a separate building next to the main one. The entrance looked nothing like a hotel—more like an industrial building. The front door was never locked, even though the hotel claimed it would be secured after midnight with a code. We never once had to enter a code, meaning anyone could access the elevator and reach the rooms. • Hot Water Issue: The most unacceptable problem was the lack of hot water. On the first night, only the first person to shower had hot water; the rest of us had to shower in freezing cold water, despite the outside temperature being –5°C in Seoul. We reported this via WhatsApp, and staff came to check but simply said “there is hot water” and left. In reality, there was none.Later, staff explained it was a storage water heater with only 17L capacity, requiring 30–60 minutes to refill. With six guests, this meant waiting up to five hours for everyone to shower. On one occasion, they arranged for one person to shower in another building, which required walking outside in –5°C weather afterwards—completely unreasonable. • Service Response: The staff repeatedly insisted there was no issue, even after we explained the situation. After the first night, we raised the problem again at the front desk, but they only checked briefly and messaged us saying “no problem.” When I asked what would happen if the issue continued, they stopped replying altogether. For the remaining two nights, we had to limit showers to 5 minutes each and avoid using too much hot water, just to make sure everyone could bathe. This is not acceptable for a hotel stay. Overall, the hotel failed to provide basic comfort, did not resolve the problem, and offered no alternative solutions. My first stay was excellent, but this time was a complete disappointment. I will not return and cannot recommend this hotel to others."

"Clean hotel and quiet. Can't say much more though because we arrived super late and have to leave early in the morning for the airport. Did the check in , and got a sarcastic comment from the receptionist because we arrived at 1am . After getting in the room , we wanted to ask the receptionist to book a taxi for us , and where was the remote for the AC , but he was not at the reception, and didnt pick up the phone either.... Didn't have the shuttle bus both ways. So had to take public transport , which is not very convenient. Had to walk 20/25min after the bus stop with all the luggage. However in the morning it was easy to book an Uber."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right at Yongsan Station Exit 3. Just follow the elevated walkway, enter the 'Food Exchange' and you'll find the elevator. This is the second floor; take the elevator down to the first floor for the Novotel lobby. The Mercure, Ibis, and Novotel are all connected. Continue through the Novotel lobby to the other end to reach the Ibis front desk. Check-in and luggage storage are very convenient. Given it's Seoul and the excellent transportation links (subway, ITX, KTX from Yongsan Station are all very accessible), the hotel's price is comparable to downtown Shanghai 🤣, but when you factor in potential taxi costs for getting around, it offers really good value for money. Plus, the room isn't small, the environment is quiet and comfortable, with complimentary mineral water and a kettle, and the toiletries are of good quality. Highly recommend!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Skypark Hotel Central Myeongdong. The location is excellent right in the heart of everything, making it super convenient for shopping and exploring the area. Although our first room didn’t have a view, the staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to change rooms without any hassle, which we really appreciated. The service overall was outstanding. A special thank you to Haneuo Lee, who was extremely helpful and made our stay even more pleasant with their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Seoul. Great service, great location, and a very comfortable stay!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near Yeongdeungpo Subway Station, making it easy to get around the city. There is also a Lotte shopping mall right next to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. There are plenty of restaurants opposite the hotel too. Found the best Korean seafood pancake and blueberry makgeoli there. Will be back for more!"
