J24 B&B

I have just returned from Rome. My daughter has moved there and we were settling her in. We stayed at J24 and I would highly recommend a visit. From confirming the booking itself through to the visit and subsequent check out, the passion, commitment and extremely hard work that is involved, is obvious in every detail.. From pre arrival transport information, to meeting us on arrival and subsequent 3 night stay. The accommodation is exactly as pictured (which is unusual). The BnB is situated in a residential area and has easy transport links to all the sights to be seen (and there are many). Davide, an impressive host, provides all information required, from maps of the area to recommendations for nearby restaurants. These stay open till 11pm, which is great if arriving later in the day. He is also the person cooking breakfast. Including baking croissants and scrambling excellent eggs. I could go on but I think you get the idea....I will visit again and it's important to know they areas nearby such as Monti (Colosseum) and Ostiense (Basilica San Paolo Outside the Walls are within a short distance by bus. Also, the Cathedral which is literally across the street and can be seen from the deluxe room window, is a must for a visit Thank you for a wonderful stay and I wish you every success going forward..a must if staying in Rome ..

We arrived in Rome for 2 nights in October and then for another night prior to the end of our trip. J24 not only met but exceeded our expectations. Not only does it meet the minimum requirements, a comfortable and clean room, but also a generous host who does everything he can to ensure your stay is a great one. Everything in the room is modern and efficient. Great bed, shower, bathroom, A/C, spacious, and very quiet. Water is provided each day and there are sodas, beers, and teas available on demand for a reasonable price (same as the markets). Turn over service is also done each day, if desired. There's available Netflix and streaming options as well, though we didn't make use of it but it's a great option for those who desire it. The breakfasts were wonderful. Each day Davide made us scrambled eggs to go along with the selection of meats, cheeses, pastries, amazing cakes, coffee, and juice. We ate too much cake. But that's on us, not him! Davide even held our large luggage for 3 nights while we went down to Sorrento. This made our travel so much easier and it was a service I would have been willing to pay for but he did it for free. When we needed to have our clothed washed after my prior plans for this fell through, he recommended a place nearby that took care of it for us. He even provided maps of Rome and the area the B&B was located, which were very useful. The only potential negative is the location being further outside the city center. But honestly, this could also be seen as a positive as there's less foot traffic and it's much quieter. We prefer staying a bit outside the city centers. A bus stops right outside the corner and the metro is only a 10 minute walk away, so it's not in an inconvenient location. Davide was such a wonderful host and made you feel at home in his B&B. We didn't have any issues, but we know if we had one, he would have taken care of it right away. You really wish all hosts were as gracious as he is. I know if I ever find myself in Rome again, I'm staying at J24.

We are a couple from Greece and we visited Rome in the middle of September 2023. We stayed at J24 B&B hotel for 10 nights. We have heard from friends and relaives who had visited Rome in the past that it is difficult to find a qualitive and at the same time affordable place to stay. J24 B&B was really beyond our expectations. The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable exactly as you can see in the photos. Davide is one of the best host we have ever met, kind, distinctive and helpful who makes you feel comfortable. He and his wife were always there to keep the room and the whole place in exellent condition. Breakfast was every day fresh, delicious and qualitive. The hotel is in the south of Rome centre near EUR, but with a lot of transport options to go to the centre (10 minutes walk or bus 715 to the station of St Basilica metro line B, bus 766 to Trastevere, bus 714 to Termini). There are also nice restaurants in the nearby area (Davide is always available to inform you about the possible options). We highly recommend J24 B&B and if we visit Rome again in the future of course it will be our only option.

Best overall experience, very kind and helpful host, a modern and spotlessly clean room, with all the comforts that could be offered [including a variety of subscription channels], very tasty breakfast, highly recommended.

I highly recommend this place, the owner is very kind and helpful. The bedroom is comfortable, super clean, spacious, and with a nice view. It is a nice area away from all the crowds, it takes 10 - 15 mins to walk to the train station, but there’s a bus stop really close to the hotel. There are nice restaurants and bars around here, just ask David! If I come back to Roma, I’d definitely come back here!

The manager was great! He was always attentive in case we needed something, the room was really nice and clean and the breakfast was very good!! I would totally recommend it!

Lovely place to stay all due to Davide the owner. The rooms and guesthouse are beautifully designed with attention paid to every detail. Super comfortable bed - lovely breakfast. Room is spacious and comfortable. Davide is extremely gracious and was very helpful and concerned with travel covid-testing issues I had due to the Christmas holiday. He couldn't be a more gracious host! I highly recommend J24 guesthouse!!! 10 stars
