Highly recommend this little cozy hotel in central Rome. Nice and clean rooms with everything you need. A nice frontyard were you could with and relax in mornings or evenings. Walking distance to the Colosseum (about 20-25 mins) but also easy access to both trams (line 3 goes all the way down in Trastevere in about 20 mins), metro (Manzoni station) or buses. But the best thing was the friendly and helpful staff. We were only staying four days but it almost felt like we got to know them. They asked about our day, gave good recommendations for places to go and made sure we had what we needed in our room. Also - very impressive with 24-hour reception service at such a small hotel.

Room was a bit small as well as the bathroom, but it worked for a one night stay. Comfortable bed and pillows. The tv had Netflix which was great. The staff were always super polite and gave us tips of places to see. The outside area is really good for a friendly get together

I found this hotel accidentally in booking and the first think that caught my eye was the garden with the beautiful tables and the wonderful arrangement. I was even more surprised when we arrived because it was prettier. Me and my mom stayed 5 nights. It’s a nice clean hotel , you have everything that you need even more. The rooms are very well furnished. Everything looks new and it’s modern. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Big thanks to the guy at the front desk ( sorry I didn’t catch your name) 🙏🏻 He is amazing, if you need anything he is there for you. No matter what and any kind of information. He knows the best places and everything for your perfect vacation. I recommend this place and I will be very happy to visit it again soon. 🙂

First of all we need to say a HUGE thank you to the gent who was working on reception on the morning of Tues 25th Sept (and had done the night shift the previous evening!). We had missed our private transfer to the airport and were panicking about missing our flight, but he got straight on to a taxi firm to inform them of the situation, ensuring they’d get us to the airport as quickly as possible and even giving us live updates of when the taxi would be arriving at the hotel. Ended up comfortably making our flight, arriving at the airport within half an hour of first raising the alarm with reception! Completely saved our trip and just sums up the quality of service at this hotel. It isn’t often that you find that the staff match the hotel, but somehow they were all as quirky and charming as the building itself! They were all so chirpy, always said hello in passing and particularly in the evening were almost desperate to have a chat with you to see what you’d been up to during the day! Our small double room wasn’t huge on storage space, but there was enough space in the wardrobe for staying a few days and you could tuck your cases away in the corner. It could do with more plug sockets, but at least you didn’t have to use your room key to turn on the electricity so you could swap which devices were charging whilst having breakfast etc. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom more than adequate with a walk-in shower. We had the most lovely balcony area looking out on to the aqueduct opposite and the street below, with the sound of the cars on the cobbles being oddly soothing. The air conditioning didn’t seem to work, but the breeze from the balcony was welcome and the electronic shutters worked perfectly well at stopping the sunlight coming in when it warmed up, with none of the coughing and spluttering you might get from air con! Breakfast can be a bit of a challenge at peak times with only limited staff to clear tables and take coffee orders, but stay patient and you’ll get more than enough to set yourself up for the day. The courtyard is an absolute delight, just to calming and tranquil and a complete world away from the chaos of the tourist sites. The perfect spot to unwind with an Aperol Spritz. Colosseum is barely a 20 minute walk away, and it was only 8 minutes or so to walk to Manzoni metro station which is very well connected to all of the major sights. Turn left out of the hotel and there is a tram stop which happens to be the junction of pretty much all of the lines within Rome, but these aren’t as frequent as the Metro nor do they necessarily connect to the tourist areas. They do run a little later than the Metro though which is handy as Manzoni currently closes at 9.30pm Sun-Thurs because of engineering work. Termini station is roughly a 20 minute walk away but is a little bit too far with suitcases etc. If you are arriving by train and have suitcases with you, make sure that you prebook a transfer as the taxi rank outside the

This is absolutely not a 4* hotel, based on the ‘small double’ room we had initially I would say 2*. The small double room is absolutely TINY, with the lack of space you cannot even open 1 suitcase in the room, let alone 2, we had to put both dirty suitcases onto the clean bed to open them every time we wanted something out of them, there’s barely enough room to walk around the bed, I’m pretty sure being able to open your suitcase is the bare minimum of a ‘hotel’. The walls were filthy and run down, the ‘mini fridge’ was empty and unclean, and we eventually got moved to a new room the following night after a long battle, they were insisting on charging us for an ‘upgrade’, no apology for the state of the room, zero customer service. Safe to say it wasn’t relaxing at all and we wish we had stayed somewhere else. I wouldn’t mind if we paid Travel lodge prices but it’s very expensive for what it is, there are some amazing apartments nearby within the same budget with all the amenities you could want, great hosts and plus plenty of space.

This hotel is a gem. Feel the vibe. Great staff. Mike was amazing and helpful. My wife and I went to Rome for three nites. This hotel was well cleaned...authentic and nice location. Room had air conditioning. Marbles everywhere. Family owned independent with lots of charm. All three front desk staff were great. Giovanni and Mike especially.

We only spent one night here. Hotel Staff was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for dinner and called us a taxi the morning we were leaving. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast (cost 10 Euros each) was totally worth it and really good: coffee, meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, Nutella, juice, etc. Hotel has a nice courtyard area perfect for enjoying some vino after dinner. There is a grocery store a few blocks away. Lots of options for dinner a short walk away. While the area outside the hotel wasn’t great, the hotel was perfect and felt safe. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum.

I'm always on the looking for fun, quirky, colorful boutique hotels. This looked great in photos, but the room was good was small, bland, white, and not really worth the cost. The staff were lovely, the rest of the space was nice, and the location was good for all your main touristy stuff, but the drab room wasn't really worth the cost.

Tourism tax was asked to pay in cash, not card. Not notified about that ahead of time. AC was not working properly and when asked, was not addressed. It was way too humid in our area to enjoy, I would not classify this hotel as "4" stars, more like 2 or maximum 3 stars. Would not come back.
