Palazzo Montemartini Rome, A Radisson Collection Hotel

Beautiful palace, reception lobby, Spa and bar. Big spacious room, stylish contemporary design. Friendly staff but room for improvement in terms of professionalism. Compliments to the Spa staff. Good value for money. Walking distance from Roma Termini train station.

I don't think we could have asked for a better stay, from bells boys to front, everyone is super super nice. We arrived early and requested early check in, they got us free coffee while we waited for maybe 10 mins and then moved us into our room. From time t time we were sent different freshly baked treats. The whole staff was super friendly to out baby and made sure she had a great time. On my last day we decided to walk to Termini with our suitcases to go to Florence and a staff member helped me all the way up to the station. Any time I am in Rome , I'll book this hotel in a blink of an eye. True 5 Star!

Very convenient location. But there are areas for improvement. Rooftop bar was closed during our stay although it was promoted as a special feature of the hotel on the booking page. We had to borrow umbrellas as it was very sunny and hot, but most of the umbrellas were broken, which doesn’t help with the brand image of the hotel. Milk capsules and coffees in our room were not refilled daily after cleaning. There was also an issue with our door lock but that was resolved fairly quickly. It would be nice to have free access to the spa facilities which are often available in other five star hotels.

Walking distance to the Triv Fountain and Colosseum, opposite train station which goes to airport around 30 mins. The restaurant in the hotel is nice and good food they offer better than most restaurants nearby

Great staff, great location, spacious rooms

Location is excellent as it allows traveler to go from the central railway station to the hotel by a walk (5 mins) and avoid queuing for taxi that in Rome are notoriously rare and scam tourist and Italians alike. Downside is that at night (I'd suggest avoiding walking around past 10pm) the area is unsafe due to the large numbers of homeless people wandering around. Hotel itself was great, polite and helpful staff, beautiful setting (in particular the dining/breakfast area) and nice rooms, quite spacious by Rome standard. Breakfast was good, specially if you prefer a sweet breakfast (excellent cakes!) but somewhat lacking of savory options.

good staying experience

I DO NOT recommend this hotel. For the price paid, not the best value for money. The location is beside Roma Termini, so it’s at least ~20mins walk to the nearest sights like Colosseum and ~25mins to Trevi Fountain etc. You can easily book a good 4* hotel for the same price they charge within 5mins walk. Speaking of stars, it’s more of an overpriced 4*, the walls are hollow (I knocked on all 4 corners, even the toilet walls are hollow), the amenities given are substandard (Hand feels dry after cleaning with their soap) and there’s no divider for the shower. So there’s problem with noise pollution. I’m on the 4th floor and can still hear honking below clearly. Breakfast is mostly pastries focused so you can safely skip if that’s not for you. Lastly, if you carefully see the 8 photos “Collection Rooms” on Trip.com, there is no attic room. But there are attic rooms in this hotel, and they are much, much smaller than the rooms pictured. Take a look at my photos. Deceptive in their advertising. Unless there’s a sale, please take caution when considering this hotel. There is a NH collection hotel just down the street which have much better reviews on Google Maps!

The location is near to the train station and the service is good. but the room is a little bit dirty.
