The room was very clean and staffs were kind. It is very closer to the station so it is not that difficult to find it at our first day of the city. Thank you!

The location is excellent for getting tourist attractions and train/metro station. The staff were very kind and helpful. Many welcome snacks and drinks prepared in the room. Room was clean and our pyjamas were put nicely on our bed after day out. Room for 4 of us was spacious. Safe, shower cap, disposable shaver, umbrellas were prepared in the room. The smell from shower gel and conditioner was lovely. The water flow from shower was not strong enough. Air conditioning was excellent for hot weather after a day out.

Best location, great rooms very clean and very helpful staff. Always ready to help and great in giving directions. Great Italian hospitality at it’s finest The host had always a smile on. We were able to leave our luggage with them after check out so we can still enjoy our last day.

Close to the train station resturants was nice. The 47 steps were pretty ruff trying to get heavy luggage up the stairs. I would only go back if they had someone to help with the luggage

The owner told me they will give us a two twin bed before I started the trip. But they didn’t. It made one of my family to sleep on the ground. It’s a really bad experience！

Rudia and Veronica were extremely helpful and friendly. They showed me to my room even when I arrived early, and when I interrupted their work to ask for help breaking my luggage lock, they cheerfully lent tools. (I had lost the keys. Travel tip: use pliers to break the tab of the zipper.) 47 Steps is very secure with three keyed doors between the street and each room. You’ll need cellular data to unlock the street door upon your first arrival, or make arrangements with the owners ahead of time. Location is just half a block from Roma Termini Station, extremely convenient for a stopover.

If you think of it as a guesthouse rather than a hotel, it is a comfortable facility. The public area has a kitchen and a calatry. The reservation system here is peculiar. I was relieved to receive a message from ********** three days before my stay that my reservation was confirmed, but I had to follow the instructions to confirm my reservation. I failed to do so and did not know how to check in. Unfortunately, I never received the email that the staff said they sent. Nor in my spam mail box. When I pressed the doorbell at check-in time, there was no response at all. Perhaps it is not working. With the help of the master of the restaurant next door, I managed to check in. I was not able to get a receipt for the city tax payment because I had to leave the cash in the room and checked out. The room has been renovated and is very clean. However, they are not soundproof. You can clearly hear the noise from the room next door. The door in front of the common area was auto-locked. I didn't know this and left without a key, so I was locked out. When I called my family loudly from there, they could hear me in the guest room across two doors and opened the door for me. Oh yes, I should add that there was some tiramisu in the fridge left over from a previous guest.

Wonderful guesthouse, friendly owner. I would definitely stay there again and you should too! A very nice restaurant not more than 30 metres away also.
